    Evening all!

    Food

Breakfast - Rice Krispies and semi-skimmed milk. Delighted to find out that they still Snap, Crackle n Pop!
Lunch - bolognaise from last night
    Dinner - Shepherds Pie (Home-made)
Snacks - Classic biscuit, low-fat custard pot, apple, one fruit pastille (Offered at work, but didn't eat more than one!)

Not sure if I got my five a day, but coped well. Still drinking loads of water although can't drink much after 3pm or I spend the whole bus journey home thinking of peeing :rotfl:

    DFW

Cheque received from Mazuma for £15, which will go into my account as OH has received the money from me already :D

Sticker for postage received from MusicMagpie, so I have parcelled the stuff up and Mr Fresian will kindly post tomorrow. That will net about another £12 if I remember correctly.

Also requested payment from Amazon so have another £6 coming too. Slowly but surely it's all trickling in...!

    Ebay

13 items currently listed, none waiting to upload
6 items have people watching, 3 of those with multiple watchers, so hoping for a bidding war :rotfl:
2 items which have watchers are being bid on - total of £1.74 so far :j:rotfl:

I am back into the DFW way of things, hurrah!

In other news, I am going to be a bridesmaid!! One of my very good friends has, in her words, received a Golden F*ck Off from her work. This isn't a disaster as she was about to hand in her notice and move to the country as she has another job lined up. She can now get married this year instead of many years hence and so it's happening in September.

I am going to be a bridesmaid, which is awesome, but this could have a detrimental effect on my Debt-Free By 30 plan as I am going to have to pay for, at the very least:

    • Accommodation for at least one night, more likely two, for me and OH
    • Shoes - dress being paid for
    • Transport to wedding which is on other side of the country
    • Wedding present, although they know this won't be much as we're skintaroos
I am also going to be paying for a lot of Edinburgh Fringe Festival tickets shortly, so I am going to have to be very careful with my money. My boot sale money will go into an account for these two things as will anything I make from Ebay/MusicMagpie. I am going to start using Green Metropolis too I think given the volume of books I have. Has anyone used them and are they any good?

So many things to think about tonight!!

I've been using GreenMetropolis for a couple of years and think it's pretty good. It can be a bit slow though and watch the postage as they don't give you any extra for what they consider to be an average paperback. They do give postage for bigger or thicker books though.

    Morning all!

I have listed 12 books on GreenMetropolis this morning and have a pile of stuff in the living room for adding to Ebay, which I will do tomorrow prior to my overtime. Yay for overtime! I may well be doing an hour tonight as well. Every little helps. I need to keep telling myself that :rotfl:

The books I am listing on GreenMetropolis will be left there until my carboot sale and then I will be suspending the sales and trying to sell them face to face. Better to get rid of things quickly than lose the chance completely!

    Right, work for me :D

I've got a few books on GM like that - they are kept in a box under the bed & come out for car boot sales each year, that way they aren't in the way but could potentially earn me some pennies

    Hiya all,

Just woke up after having a half hour nap so my head feels like it's full of cottage cheese :D Not a huge amount to report really, but I liked putting things into categories yesterday so here it is again!

    Food

Breakfast - Snap, Crackle & Pop
Lunch - ham & egg roll from M&S
Dinner - fry up. Two sausages, four bits of bacon, scrambled egg, two bits of toast :D
Snacks - yoghurt (Muller corner) Hula Hoops, strawberries/apple

*edit* Oops, forgot about the two teacakes and the four Percy Pigs. Offices are evil...

Drunk about two litres of water too. The fry up isn't good but I've been good all week and it is Friday!

    Ebay

    13 items currently listed.
8 items have people watching, 2 of those with multiple watchers
4 items are being bid on - total of £7.73 so far

I've done nothing else for Ebay today, but maybe tomorrow...

    Other DFW news

Mazuma cheque now safely in the bank. OH has repaid me £60 of the money he owes me for repaying his loan. I am doing at least 3 hours overtime tomorrow, so that will be at least £31 before tax.

All my bills are out of my account but I misbudgeted so had an additional £50 leftover :D This money is now in my "spends" account and will be used for PAD as I had been worrying about running out of money this month and not being able to PAD - this is now a compulsion for me!!

I've been checking out local car boot sales tonight (Before I fell asleep) and now have an idea of where we should go to make good pennies for ourselves. I am going to have a house full of chaos for the next couple of weeks as things sit in boxes waiting for Ebay/carboot, but soon I will have space in my house, hurrah!

*edit* Based on Silaqui's comments - my fry up was grilled bacon and sausage on the George Foreman grill, and I had scrambled egg and made fried for Mr Fresian, so it's not as bad. Hurrah!
