Some time later... in fact a whole 20 minutes has flown by a further £15.45 for another small pile of very dusty CDs has been liberated from their hidey hole. I had to wipe the dust off to read the barcodes so no one (no one being code word for OH) will miss them. Thank you again. Thats the easiest £22.92 I've made all month.
What I did yesterday was this:- Go to musicmagpie and enter the barcode for the CD/DVD/PS2 game I wanted to sell
- If it was pennies, fair enough, but if it was more than about £1 and the DVD/game was in good condition I listed it on Amazon instead

Hiya F-F, thanks for the info about MusicMagpie.... I have a 'pile of poo' cds that have been listed on Amazon on more than one occasion and are still sat gathering dust in the corner of the bedroom! I shall spend tonight after work going through them and seeing what they're worth on MusicMagpie instead :T'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0

Good morning all
I have quite a few plans for today, so I thought I would list them here as well as on my reply to the What Small DFW Things thread, as this way I can tick them off and see how productive I have been when it gets to the end of the month/year. I'm not going to include some of the daily DFW things like storecupboard dinners etc (Unless I make something truly amazing!)
So, today the things I would like to cross off my list are:
- Post Amazon parcels
- Buy more bubble wrap for wrapping up the next lot of stuff
- List items on Ebay
- Declutter some more
- Put the items I don't think will sell into bags for charity
- Change and wash bedclothes
- Figure out why my cat is currently trying to lick my big toe. Weirdo.

That's my items listed on Ebay.
I have also self-excluded myself from Gala for 6 months. I used to play bingo a lot, and I think that's why my overdraft got so out of hand. I closed most of my accounts but kept Gala as I like the site a lot. I have started spending again and not winning anything and I am not going to let my DFW progress be b*ggered by gambling, so I'm out.
Next time I'm bored I'm going to declutter something or play an online game. No gambling for me
Take that Gala!
*edit* and I signed up for a free trial of Audible through Quidco, so I have now got two shiny audiobooks to listen to - I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue (We miss you Humph) and Northern Lights (5 hours, yikes!)

oooohh! well spotted, thanks! i have just signed up for my free trial and now need to choose my freebies.:D:D:D
i think your "get up and go" attitude might be rubbing off on me a bit (yay!). normally i am quite a busy & motivated person, but recently have fallen into slovenly lazy ways (i think i may have a touch of SAD and it seems to be worse this year, also with grandad passing have been down...) - BUT - today, i got up at a resonable time (7.30am), allowed myself just the one chapter of alan carr's autobiography whilst i drank my cup of tea, then got up & got cracking. thank god for that!
xxMortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A
