Ah never mind about the pizza and stuff - know exactly the feeling with the kitchen, I have sneakily 'forgotten' to clean ours safe in the knowledge I will be out most of the day tomorrow and can text bf to remind him to do it lol :rotfl:

And High School Musical, well a girls gotta have something to look forward to! Me and my mate bought our tickets to go and see Take That in Manchester and TBH its gonna be my 'holiday' this year, not gonna even go camping like we have been doing!

Good for you with the orange/phone thing - their retentions people are very good but I doubt they would have been able to match that! Just out of interest who is the actual contract with for your new phone (I mean like what provider?)?

Good on your annual review, I've never had to have one in my line of work (not like that anyway) I can imagine it is one of the most excruciatingly embarrassing things to have to do! Sounds stupid as I'm a teacher but I HATE HATE HATE having to speak in front of people, it's different in front of a class of kids lol.

OH and milly I love those new nanos too!!

Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

    Evening!

Very quick post from me before I go to bed - I'm doing overtime at 8am tomorrow, eek!

I have put a note in my diary to cancel the Orange contract (I would be moving to O2, who I have been with before and who are pretty good) and the £50 cashback from the Alliance and Leicester account is showing as tracked on Quidco.

I got my Musicmagpie labels through the post today, and as I am going to the Post Office after work tomorrow anyway, I will post the CDs and games I am selling to them as well - that will be another £18 when their cheque comes through, and I made £16 on Ebay today with more due to sell tomorrow. I like this making money thing! Half of the money I make is going to my debts, half to my T'Other Half's Awesome 30th Celebrations fund, so I have two good things to make money for!

I will have done 6 hours of overtime this week by the time I get paid tomorrow, which will be about £62 - tax. I don't know how to work it out :rotfl:so by the time tax, NI and pension comes off I am assuming £30 for me, anything more being a bonus and I will be doing the half and half thing for that come payday too.

Right, bed for me, have to be ready to go to work at quarter to eight for when my pal picks me up!

Have a nice weekend all :D

Hi everybody! hellowave.gif (I always want to follow that with "Hi Dr Nick"!)

I have had quite a good week in the old DFW stakes. Ok, I have spend a lot of money on going to the HSM Live Tour but I have already had half of that money back from the friend I'm going with, and I will be paying for mine on payday.

So far this week I have:

    • Sold £38 worth of items on Ebay th_1dd303af95ca2ff496b8f0623a0c4e77.gif
    • Requested a payment of £27 from Amazon th_1dd303af95ca2ff496b8f0623a0c4e77.gif
    • Listed the £1 DVD I bought from the Nestle cereals offer on Amazon today @ 6pm and sold it for £3.08 after Amazon fees @ 6.40pm :rotfl:
    • Done 6.75 hours of overtime. This works out at £69.12 before tax, NI and pensions. I'm hoping for £35 and anything else will be a bonus th_1dd303af95ca2ff496b8f0623a0c4e77.gif
    • Packaged up my items for musicmagpie, I will post them tomorrow as the weather is horrible here today. That will bring in another £18 or thereabouts.th_1dd303af95ca2ff496b8f0623a0c4e77.gif
So all in all I have made over £100 this week, for not a lot of real effort. Woo! yahoo.gifyahoo.gifyahoo.gifyahoo.gif

Just going to go and make dinner then steel myself to empty the cat litter tray. Urgh.

Enjoy the rest of your night folks.

I had a spare five minutes and added up the money I have paid as part of my PAD since payday on the 19th of December (Wow, it seems sooooo long ago)

I have paid off £267.64 since then. Money I would have spent on coffee and lunch and magazines and clothes, and it has gone from my debts. Woo!

I think it's time to break out my wooty icon again...

Well done on your money making :T It's amazing how it all adds up.

I'm hoping that my attemps with budgets etc and overtime pay off and I can start to notice that savings balance going up through the year. Just taking a well earned couch rest after a 7 day week....must keep it up as need the pennies.

Look forward to reading more posts.... x

Quidco is a cashback website - you buy the things you normally would online and you get cashback for using Quidco to access these sites.

Quidco clicks are ways in which you can make money through Quidco without spending. The one I do everyday is Kelkoo - you click through to it via Quidco, do a search and access the retailers website and you earn 2p. It doesn't sound like much, but 2p per day is over £7 per year.
  • Thanks. I have just signed up.
