Hiya
Just found your diary and find it so inspiring and thank you, thank you, thank you for introducing me to Music Magpie, I'm sat here at work and have half a dozen CD's in my desk that have been there a year from someone who 'thought' I might like (their old tat), but don't and they are worth 7 quid!!!!
I shall be subscribing to your thread for tips!
How do we use the smilies we've blagged from you? Desperate for a cute 'wave' rather than the boring  one...?
Good luck in your mission!!

Hi all,
Thanks for the words of support, it's really kind of you all to comment and I really appreciate it.
Jo - I use this website http://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=0&forumid=4# and just copy and paste the smileys over from there. Thanks for joining my thread and I look forward to seeing more of you!
Now, time to end t'other halfs Sunday lie-in and remind him he said he would help me buy heavy things from Asda today - he's not going to be happy0 -
FF no matter how bad your week gets just remember that some of us at some point in our week have the fantabulous job of scraping yellow crusty crystals of urine from the urinals in the smelliest boys toilets in the universe. A task second only to walking through the door to be confronted with someone who says "Ooh I'm glad you're here theres diahorhea / vomit or on some days both that needs cleaning up." Obviously one of the perks of my job is I'm never the person whos shoes get puked on! I also get to unblock toilets and remove drain traps on sink to scour out the slimey gone off milk that lurks within. On the plus side the staff room in permanently full of chocolates and cream cakes.
This made me giggle, cos I work in the office of a school and am currently sat at my desk as it's 11+ weekend and we are a hosting school.
Yesterday's bunch thought it would be a great laugh to urinate all over the walls and put the plug in the sinks and fill them with urine too....didn't know what the smell was that covered THE WHOLE school till after the kids had gone and the caretaker went in there(thanks for the smiley tip FF
love it!!!)

The total amount of debt is quite scary butmy debt at my first diary entry (In my old thread) was £9112.63 though, so that's £754.49 cleared since mid-December :T I would like to have cleared £1000 by the middle of February (Totally achievable with the surplus I have posted here!) and to save up another £100 or so for t'other halfs birthday by the time I get paid again.
I'm assuming my overtime is gone now, so I am going to have to get really frugal with the groceries and entertainment budgets and also try and sell some more things on Ebay and Amazon. I didn't list anything this weekend, but as I posted this morning it's been quite the week, so I'm not going to beat myself up about it. I will have a look around the house and try and find things that I can sell while having a good declutter. I am also going to put some of the heavier things that I can't post on Ebay etc on my local Gumtree and see if I can make a few pounds.
Posting another SOA has been quite useful as it has reminded me that I have got a reasonably good surplus and that there are definitely areas in which I can make more cash and get rid of my debts more quickly. I am going to allocate £300 per month to debt repayments and head to the DFD calculator just now and update my signature too.
I'm starting to become my more positive self again!!!!

I've done my Snowball calculation again, and my DFD is now August 2011.
That's nearly a year earlier than when I first did the calculation in November!
I'm assuming that I can put £300 per month into debts - this is £154 minimum payments and the other £146 from my surplus, which still leaves me almost £100 per month for emergencies or additional debt repayments.
Whoop whoop I'm off to update my sig! :j
