  • hey sweetpeanut, thanks im really made up i just hope it can continue. i agree with doing it for the 8 weeks, it sounds (just about!) manageable!at 8 weeks il see how much ive still got to lose and go from there. we are looking to lose about the same then- i want to lose 4 stone argh!! so just over 3 stone left to go. i need to be skinny for my wedding coz all my bridesmaids are gorgeous (how dare they! i know!) !! your dinners sound gorgeous, we have been having chicken stir frys, bolognaise etc. i just dont have the pasta or rice that H2B and baby have. how are you feeling on it so far? oh n i tried the choc fudge bar today- i thought it was horrible! want to try the berry fudge have heard they are nice.you are much more restrained than me, i am checking the scales every day! you are not alone- i have failed all others before but this feels possible.

Well its been a week now and I am pleased to announce that I lost a little over 5llbs in one week. I was very good the whole week but at the weekend I stole a WHOLE FIVE chips of my hubby's plate. YIKES!!!!! :-)

My favorite meal is to stuff aubergenes and courgettes with mince meat and lots of mushrooms - yum yum.

Bring on week two - fingers crossed I lose another 5llbs.

  • hi all..

I have been on this just over a week.. 1st week lost 8lb, was thrilled, next weigh in not till thurs but sneaked on the scales today and had lost more, another 2lb for a stone :)

thanks for the link to the recipes on the irish site... couldnt find them on the uk or aus one and thought £6.99 for the recipe book was a tad steep

    good luck all trying it

*i've done lipotrim in the past and the shakes, soup and bars on this are a zillion times nicer. I haven't felt hungry at all and unlike lipo or other TFR diets you are at least still having to think about what you are eating, this is essential for when you stop using it IMO - not missed my carbs at all................... big shocker for me ;)
  • I'm only on day two of this so no results to report on yet but have to say I can't believe how yummy the milkshakes are! Thought they would taste watery but quite the opposite. This will be an easy one to stick to.

Good to hear lots of positive results for people, fingers crossed for my first weigh in next week.

Be sure to keep us all updated people ;)

Im also on day 2 caroline, I have tried choc and strawberry and there both yummy! Can you buy the shakes in a ready mix carton anywhere?
I'm sure I have seen them on the net, but can't find them now!
    £100 - £10,000
  • Hey Mia,

I've had banana and caramel both were more of a treat to me than a diet product!

Don't think you can get them in a ready mix as I guess at the end of the day, all we have to do is add the water. Plus giving it a shake must burn at least one calorie
