Oh dear, not a good week :o

I've not been good at all this week, I've eaten loads, done no exercise, been out on late nights - and put 2lbs on !!!! - and not managed to keep to any of my DFW plans either :o

Have kept to some of the goddess plan though, I'm still looking tanned and my skin etc is benefiting from all the attention so I'm pleased with that :D

Am thinking I need to revise my plans a bit, going to have a really busy time at work and don't want to set myself up for failure. I have a tendancy to make really ambitious plans and then when I can't maintain them I go completely off the rails - and eat and spend more than when I started! Been reading Sarah's slow and steady approach plan on the SAID thread and I think I'm going to go for the same kind of approach. I have a few events coming up over the Summer (it's my favourite time of year) and I know they are going to invlove spending. I don't want to feel deprived so I am going to accept my invitations, look F Fabulous and enjoy myself :j So my new, revised aim on the DFW plan is to maintain all minimum payments, including £100 a month off my overdraft, and not increase my debt. Then over the Winter months, when my social life is quieter, I can do some major debt busting :D

On the dieting front the plan is pretty much the same, slow and steady. I aim to try to lose a pound a week and never increase, just slow and steady. Of all the weight I have lost since New Year, about 12lbs, I have gone up and down so much I am now back where I started, 11st 10lbs  So, actually for all my efforts, nothing acheived. I have also accepted that I am not a gym person and don't have the time/inclination to fit it into my life. I am no longer going to beat myself up about it and will cancel my membership when I can, in a couple of months. I am going to try and fit 2 'free' exercise sessions into my week, either a DVD or walking, then at least if I don't manage it I won't be wasting money

ooohh - that's a bit long and rambling!! Time to get off the lappy and get dressed! Going to go shopping, hopefully mainly with vouchers, night out next Friday and I'm thinking accessories!!! Cheaper than a new outfit :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hi Shoegal

Hope you had a great time on holiday, I've now been back at work for a week and its so depressing (and cold)

Holiday was fab loads of good food and drink so I gained 6lb, so I'm thinking of cutting and paste your diary into mine as were both feeling the same

Only positive thing - I'm lovely and tanned, so going to get back on track starting Tuesday

Keep your chin up, and remember baby steps, you seem to be aiming for very long strides and then beating yourself up when you don't quite make it

Shopping was Ok - no major splurges! One of the few advantages of beeing fat is that I am not as tempted to buy clothes as usual as I look fat in everything  Obviously this doesn't apply to shoes but I managed to restrain myself today :A

Treated myself to some jeans that actually fit  so I have something to wear to go out the next 2 weekends - and I feel Okish about how they look

Have eaten well today, now I'm going to do an exercise DVD and some 'goddess' stuff then an early night

Need to do loads of 'admin' and tidying tomorrow - will be on with a list so feel free to nag me :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hey SG,

I've been lazy today and only just got up before midday  I'm telling myself I must of needed the sleep as I didn't wake up once until then which is not like me at all :rotfl:

Good luck with your list today. I agree with your earlier post and revising your plans a little bit. If you know that you have a manic time at work and event coming up etc then why like you said - set yourself up for failure. I'm sure you'll surprise yourself along the way and end up paying off more that you think anyway!

Need to get myself into gear, I just seemed to have no energy or life in me at the mo - constantly tired and sleeping like i've never slept at all.

    Good luck with your list!
