Came home to a cheque for the gold I sent off - only sent it on Monday! £59.17! Pleased with that as it was just stuff that was lying around :rolleyes:
So it's going straight to Barclaycard - and taking me under £25K :j:j:jSometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Brilliant news! :j:j Very fast service and you are so right, if just lying around then no point in having it!
Also think Firefox advice v. good. I should try and learn from it myself!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills :eek:

Been out to get a new telly (forced into it as this region has gone digital and mine didn't work
)
Have also spent my birthday money/vouchers. Got a rug, some cushions and a few bits - my mum is going to help be decorate next weekend (just need to buy paint now)
Off to a party tonight - need to try my dress on and make sure it still fits :eek:Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Slightly reflective post
I am wondering if the whole MSE/DFW thing is finally sinking inI am going to a party tonight wearing a dress from last year (£7 for cleaning instead of the usual new dress), am about to attempt to put my own hair up (bit worried about this but didn't want to pay the £25 the hairdresser charges) - and wearing my lovely, bargain, shoe boots I bought the other week
Maybe the message is getting through :rolleyes: When I got my gold cheque yesterday I didn't consider doing anything except pay it off debtSometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -

Shoe Gal, you're doing so well! You don't need a new frock or hairdresser to look fab. I'm going to my Xmas do in 2 weeks wearing last years frock and different leggings and I'll still feel fabby. Hope you have an ace night and you're an inspiration.X'The road to a friends house is never long'0
