    Oops

Prompted by Tillys comment, I double checked my excel sums and found a mistake

Dailly interest is around £12 (not £18) so Thanks Tilly for saving me some money :)

Bored of reading searches/signing paperwork, feels like we are never going to get a house

Also coal mining search has come back with 2 claims of subsidence in the area within 50m of the BIG house, that was all the information the solicitor would tell me as she was still looking through the report

Now wondering, is this to do with coal mining/drains/trees

Not sure what caused the subsidence on the field (thankfully it wasn't any of the house's near by) but this mean that the mortgage company are insisting on indemnity insurance before they will release the money

Our solicitor wants the seller to pay for this but I'm suspecting they will say "No" knowing that we won't pull out the sale. Told the solicitor that we will pay as this will cause at least another weeks delay so waiting for quotes

So much for a quick sale :rotfl:

  • Hi Radish, sorry to hear about subsidence in the field - hopefully the search will reveal all.

    Daily interest looks fab :j

    Best wishes Tilly x

:j We have exchanged today finally after 3 long weeks of the mortgage company being idiots

Have asked for a completion date for next Thursday and will move in the following Monday due to us going away for a weekend to relax. I have never felt so stressed/annoyed/teary as the last few months :)

So next week mortgage = £165,254.00

Hope the new house is everything you hope it will be. I'm sure you'll get that mortgage hammered down faster than the lender is expecting you to! :D

Yes I think the first OP of £65,254 will be shock to them but that is the joy of selling BF's house as well

We didn't rely on the sale of his house for the BIG house in case it fell through

The £254 is because if you ask HSBC to loan you £165,000 they get the paperwork wrong and give you the wrong amount

Once in the house - kitchen/bathroom shopping :D

Surely you mean an OP of £65,255 to get down to 5 figures :rotfl:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)
