:) House that was originally discounted as it was to expensive has been dropped £20K in price (this was one of the ones we looked at, at the weekend)

We offered £16K under the new price and they have accepted, so we have bought a house (again) so fingers crossed all systems go and this time nothing goes wrong

    News on BF's house
They want to exchange on the 21st June and complete on the 29th June so we are trying to push them back to the 6th July so I think we are going to be homless :rotfl:
    Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

Sat here surrounded by lots of empty boxes and no inclination to start filliing them with all BF's [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] stuff

If all goes well we will be homeless in 5  more sleeps (and are moving back to my parents) Van booked for 08.30 so not much time Friday morning to do much, but we will have a few hours to clean up whilst waiting for the EA to confirm the house has sold

The big house has been surveyed so should get the report on Wednesday. Letter from the solicitors saying that they are preparing the draft paperwork to send to the sellers solicitor early next week, so things seem to be happening after not much happening that was driving me to distraction

Hoping to be in either the 22nd or 29th of July if the sellers can move that quick as well, they have been told that we will be homeless and want a quick sale, so we will see :)

But if does it himself it is unlikely anything will accidentally get lost in the move ;).
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

No wine to drink as we de-cluttered all that in preparation for the move

Trust me, boxes need to be accidentally lost, I have packed 3 boxes of glasses today which proves that we go to a lot of beer festivals :)

This house move is definitively a case of not sorting through stuff before you move and taking useless stuff with you, BF keeps asking why there is more stuff in his 2 bed house than my 3 bed house
