PS - That'll be "witter" rather than "sitter" then...
G'night / G'morning :-)0 -
Leigh, I went bankrupt in August 2005 and I told CCCS this but there was no mention that my DRO would be turned down....0

Good Morning Smart Mart,
Thanks for the info.
Has your DRO now gone through then?0 -
Sorry, just read your previous post!
V tired :-/
Hope it goes well for you :-)
I'm just so gutted I lost my job on Tuesday, as I was enjoying it..
It was working for TeleTech from home, and I'd only started in August.
My main worry is that even though my star of a boss said she'd welcome me back with open arms when I'm feeling better after a few months, TeleTech do an Experian 'background check' :-/ They did one when I joined the company last time, but whether or not it's an ID check or a full blown credit check I don't know..
I'm just praying that the DRO isn't frowned upon too much by TeleTech when I reapply next year!
Smart Mart, did you get your online credit report ok?
This is something I should sort out today. Oh joy! ;-)0 -

Hi Leigh..... get yourself some sleep then you won't double post as much...;):D
The Experian website told me it had to do some further work or something - can't remember exactly what it said but basically I haven't received it just yet.
I'll post back here when I move on with my DRO but I have to wait for the statements and letters to come from the creditors before I send them off.
Good luck with yours, Leigh....0 -
Hi all, read your posts and as i recently got a DRO, but also got it revoked thought id share my experience with u. Now i did nothing wrong i applied declared all my debts 7000 pounds total and got accepted, if u do miss a small debt out it doesnt matter like a overdraft if u want to keep bank, but any debt u do miss out cant be added later, but if you have say debts of 16000 and miss out 1000 to get accepted they will find out and revoke you, now my DRO was revoked because one of my main debts was car finance, i owed 4500, now i was in a accident 18 months ago and the car was wrote off i didnt recieve anywhere near what i owed on finance from insurance, but still had to pay my finance which i did for 18 months till my DRO, now with the cash i got from my insurance i bought a car off ebay for as i needed for work, then the econmy crashed i got my insurance quote through and had to sell my car for 2000 pound a 100% loss then i bought and sold 1 more car blah so in the end the DRO wanted proof of my buys and sales, even though they know i had no assets or moneys now, the problem was they were bought and sold on ebay which i owed money on and this account was included in the DRO, now with it being in the DRO i have no access to account anymore so cant get any proof of purchases/sales i politely told the DRO people this and asked if they could get ebay to send the details, or they could even check with the DVLA and insurance about the write - off and the cars i bought and sold, there was nothing i could do but all i got was they need all of this proff even though i couldnt get it and give me 7 days, now they have revoked it, so be careful im past the point of caring now anyways, i was always worried about debt but i have no assets or income at the moment so they cant hang me, sick of debtors trying to scare me, so be warned while a DRO could be good, DONT MISS ANY INFO off and if your like me and cant access some of your past then your ******, gl giys0

When applying
If you apply for a DRO, you must:
• provide the official receiver with a full list of your assets and liabilities,
including the names of your creditors (you give this information on the
online application form);
• comply with the official receiver’s request to provide information about
your financial affairs, so that they can consider your application. The
official receiver may not need to contact you, but you should be prepared
to co-operate fully if they ask you for more information.
