If they're funny about it, that quote was lifted from the DRO A-Z produced by the Insolvency Service1

Hi again. Sorted it out with stepchange and they removed my virgin mobile contracts which were not in arreas without any issues from my app! So now i have confirmation my DRO application has been submitted now after paying via barcode in post office. Anyone know the usual turn around for approval? The lady advised to try keep up minimum payments until i get an email from Insolvency service confirming approval. Thanks fatbelly for your advice. Fingers crossed all goes through!0

Mine took 2 or 3 days from submitting it to the entry being on the Insolvency service website, best thing is to check the website in a couple of days and you should see your details thereWinMeSomeStuff said:Hi again. That's correct. However, I can't see the point in maintaining minimum payments when you're going for an insolvency solution. You should stop as early as you can and use that money towards the fee.3

Cheers for the info. Ive been trying to keep min payments because I was worried that if i didn't, and get charged missed payment fees and interest, the balance wouldn't match up with my application and be more? Could that be an issue? Or am i over thinking it and should stop the payments and just wait for approval? Sorry if these are silly questions.fatbelly said:That's correct. Afternoon all. Bank account query. I have a Halifax Current Account, never had an overdraft on it and is my main account. I have a loan (not in arrears) I have included on my DRO from Halifax also. Am I correct in thinking they could close my current account? If so am I able to freely apply to another bank, or do I need to state I am going through the DRO process?
Thanks for any help!0
