well as I say - I can live in hope, but somehow I cannot see them going through with it as it would definitely cost more than the debt.0

But what I'm trying to clarify is - if you exclude inexpensive TV's PC's Laptops etc - I'm sure if I add up all thing I have, like my DVD collection and other bit of furniture and ornaments, none of which are expensive on their own, but when added together will surely come to more than £300.wardie2437 wrote: »Well I may not have any option - CrapQuest say in a letter they are "Preparing a Statutory Demand" against me - I really hope they do - then I can lump some other debts in it with it and I dont have to pay bankruptcy charges - somehow I think they may just be all !!!! and wind though :-)0

Hi, apologies 4 the confusion. An AI is the approved intermediary who will help u apply 2 the Insolvency Service 4 a DRO. NDL = National Debt Line whom are helping me apply for mine.
I'm 110% not over the 15k threshold.
Just be aware that if u cannot apply 4 your DRO until your savings have been split 2 creditors in July that any interest acrued in the meantime doesn't end up pushing u over the 15K limit. I've only missed 1 mths payment 2 my creditors whilst dealing with my DRO application & my creditors have already started 2 hit me with daily interest charges, so it's important 2 keep a close eye on all your balances owing.
Btw, just read your sig, I take my hat off 2 u :T:T:T
There was a hell of a lot of re-claiming charges (just on time it now seems too) and hefty PPI that helped get it down so much. Plus ebaying anything of any worth. Even the 99p sales have helped
will have a look into NDL as well0 -
thanks, on all accounts

NDL have been wonderful 2 deal with, but understandably the 9wk wait is due 2 the gr8 demand on their resources at the moment. So far they have been courteous, informative, understanding & sympathetic...........but more importantly........thorough. I've still a long wait ahead, but at least I know I'm in very capable handsI just hope 2 keep the wolves from the door whilst my DRO is been processed. I've also had alot of support & advice through this forum from the experts & those that have already been through the process, it's helping 2 keep me sane!!:)
I am a Leo...& as such I will defend my "pride" ferociously....you have been warned!0 -

Hi everyone,
I hope someone can help me with a few questions about a DRO.
I have no assets, my car is worth £250 max.
My debts are below £15,000. I have had my credit report from Call Credit Check, waiting for Experian and going to do Equifax this weekend. So I hope I won't miss any out.
It says on the NDL website that benefit overpayments can be included, does anyone know if this means tax credit overpayments as well?
Also currently I have doorstep collectors and brighthouse which I pay and then have to work out food after, sometimes ending up with £30 for the week (1 adult 4 kids). Should I work my budget out with what I actually spend or what I should spend? NDL website averages £426 a month for food for a family our size, I wish I could afford that on food a month.
Also, can I only include debts that I am being actively chased for? I have some debts that I get letters for and others I don't. Thanks x0
