If you are still within the 12-month morotorium period, you must let the DRO unit know of any change of address, wherever that is.

I am not sure what a task rebate is. Can you explain?

    Duh! Tax rebate?

Yes, if it takes your assets over the £300 limit, you must inform the DRO unit. It may be best to run this situation through your Intermediary if it is over £300 and arrives within the 12-month period.

Hi I have a question on behalf of my mum, we have spoken to CCCS regarding her debt and they have said a DRO is an option for her, and I have said I will pay the fee but we are going to apply for disability living allowance for her.
Obviously no guarantees of this being awarded but I am just a little worried because if she is awarded it (would be some time after applying fro DRO) would that then mean she can't have a DRO as she would be getting more income?? Hope that makes sense!
    Thanks

Just been doing a bit of googling and found this info on an intermediary guidance notes:
    "Income
Please indicate on the application form the debtor‟s total net monthly income following deduction of tax etc.
The debtor‟s income could derive from various sources, including wages, benefits and pensions. All benefits should be scheduled, including DLA, and in the instance of DLA, it is acceptable to record the same amount as expenditure. The debtor may also receive income from other areas, such as rental income, which should also be included on the form in the “other sources” field."

Am I right to assume that this would also be the case once you had applied? So in a sense it would just cancel itself out and not make any difference?

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

    Thank you so much
Now begins the job of tracking down who now has what debt fun fun!

Oh a quick question do I have to tell them (either CCCS or the official receiver) that we will be applying for DLA or do we just wait once we get an answer from DLA? Thank you :)
