Thanks 4 the tip Orville. That's what I've been worrying about, as they can be quite scary!!:eek::eek: I shall use your exact phrasing as I really wasn't sure what to say. I presume it's better not to mention the DRO?

Definately DO NOT mention the DRO. Just say you have your first meeting with an advisor and you have been asked to gather all your balances togther prior to the meeting so the advisor has a clear picture of your finances.

Lol. There u go, fill your boots :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:But I know that's not going 2 happen. So hopefully my replacement forms will arrive 2moro & I'll be able 2 get them filled in & returned on Monday, then it's just a waiting game until an authorised advisor can take a look at them xxx

hi orville..iv already said thanx to all the experts...but wen you talk to some-one who has actually been thru it you get a clearer picture of what happens cuz they've been thru the same thing and you can ask questions about what happened with them:):)

Ok, I'm back already. Does anybody know if I have 2 send my pension statement even though there's no income from it? I opted out of serps about 100 years ago!

It seems 2 be a grey area, perhaps because the rules have just changed. I don't pay anything in (never have done) & I can't touch it until I retire. I believe it's gonna give me an estimated £150 a year! when I reach pension age (another 25 +yrs 2 go) There's only a space on the forms for pensions you are payin in2/ receiving an income from. I think I'll just present it with an attached note & hope that will suffice xxx
