Managed to submit a DRO later this afternoon but have still not heard anything about the one I submitted on 7 Oct that they said was caught up in the shutdown.
And the bankruptcy search facility on the Insolvency Service site is still not working...
That's what I've been checking. Still can't do any applications as I've still not had my log on. Going to give them a call tomorrow as it's getting ridiculous now!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Submitted 7 yesterday, apparently they'll be held until they are ready to get going again... From what i can tell the proposed changes have took longer than expected, and in theory it's still not working...0 -

That at least seems to be working now.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Hi,
Never posted before so hope I'm doing it right! I had my application for a DRO, ready to be submitted for Tuesday, obviously their systems were not up and running by Tuesday as we thought. I now have no idea if my application has been submitted or not due to the delay. Does anybody know how long applications are likely to take now? I notice on the Insolvency website it says all applications will be on the register as soon as they are progressed, does this mean you can appear on the register anytime of day and I may know from that before my AI knows the outcome? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.0 -
Is the DRO site down again?
Anyone know what's happening?0 -
Hell, as usual when things go wrong they go wrong! I have just had the cooker die on me, its not surprising though as everything in my flat was brought when i moved in, ie 10 years old.The reason for this post is......should i purchase a new cooker or not? I have not submitted the DRO yet as i am still waiting for the forms to arrive to open a new account with another bank and didnt want to submit the DRO until all the Direct Debits had been transfered to the new bank, as sujested (thanks again for that advice
). I am just wondering what i should do, i cant really wait until i have saved up enough because thats not even possible at the moment, and i am not too keen on applying for a "crisis" loan from the social either as that would mean even less money coming in to pay the debts i already have until the DRO goes through.I know no-one can advise me to get into debt by borrowing more, but just some info on what might happen if i got more into more debt before submitting a DRO....Would the creditors contess this action or just accept it for what it is, a necessity of incredibly bad timing ( the story of my life! )?
Thanks for any advice you might give, lol, yet again!

Well i can't advise you on what would happen but thinking logically, if your cooker really has packed in, i would have thought it would be classed as a nessisty, so providing you keep the receipt i can't see you getting one would cause a problem. If you have to do it via a crisis loan as long as you can work your figures so you are still in the £50 mark i can't see it making a difference. I mean when i did my DRO, they never looked at bank statements or for any other proof of income/outgoings except what was written on the paperwork. hell i had copies of all my household bills etc, in a big envelope and never once did they look at them. They just went by my SOA and that was really it. I think the only proof was copies of my JSA acceptance and tax credits etc..0 -

That soon?
That's good going for a normal civil service IT [STRIKE]cockup[/STRIKE] upgrade.
When I did stuff with the MoD, I had a laptop they were going to put some extra RAM in.
Didn't get it back for about 9 months.
