To me those paragraphs contradict themselves..lol But i will pay the day after just to be safe...
Orville, they are dealing with two stages. The barcode is generated and you start payments. You have a six month period (max) to complete those payments from when you make the first one
The DRO unit don't want the application submitted to them until the fee is paid in full, though if both things happen on the same day that's fine.
Don't pay the day after submission - pay on the day or before to be safe.
OK now?0 -

Ok i understand that but the lady from the CAB has asked me to come in the day after submission to pick up the paperwork and i am guessing this will have the payment barcode sheet with it..?... It is being submitted next thursday and i am due to go in either the same afternoon or the day after....0 -
Hi
Is there a deadline between making full payment of the fee and completing the DRO submission?
I ask because I have just made payment of the DRO fee in full and was told by CAB on my initial appointment that I could then get an appointment within a couple of days, but now it turns out that I have to wait two weeks. Just wondered if the 10-day rule applies after payment??
Thank you.0 -
I posted this question a while back and then things went quiet so I'm posting this again in the hope someone can help!
I included an overdraft with Nationwide in my DRO which was granted last October. They persist on ringing me and writing to me saying I must pay blah blah blah. I told them I was in a DRO and sent them a letter with a print out of my entry in the Insolvency Register. Now they have a passed the debt onto a debt collection company called Fredericksons International and they're ringing too.
What can I do? My discharge is in one month or so and I just want them to go away.DRO granted 17/10/20090 -

Just tell them you are in a DRO. As long as the debt was included in the origional DRO there is nothing they can do about it. If you went through the CAB for your DRO i would contact the person that put it through for you and tell them what is happening. They would probably ring the Insolvency Practitioner and get him to put an end to it.0 -

I understand why you're confused. Suggest you phone to clarify what she's doing.
You can quote from those two paragraphs I posted earlier if need be - they were cut-and-pasted from the latest guide for Approved Intermediaries.1
