It's true though - raspberry pavlovas get me bad. Left eye welded shut (why is it always the left??)

Books - I got Almost Moon - Alice Sebold, and four new memoirs of varying kinds, one about kids of the mafia, one about anorexia. Should give me something to chew on, and there's my frugal cookbooks to look at too.

    Morning guys:wave:

Up with the larks as usual this morning:D

Kids are all still sound asleep and are in for a rude awakening in the next 15 mins, when I go and drag them all out of bed for school:D

A peaceful day planned here at chez dodger. With the kids all out of the house, I have ultimate control of the gas/elec usage, which means it should be cheaper this week (i hope).

Im back to work this week, already have an order ready to go out and will need to relist a load of things back into the shop.

Have already checked online banking and nothing has gone out that I need to reflect in my signature, mainly things that are finally coming out of my account from last years money. I still have £28.33 left from last year and am undecided as what to do with it.....

    Dinner tonight will be:

Sausages and Mash with Veg and Onion Gravy!!:D Yummmmm! One of my favourites:D

Ds3 wont eat the mash or veg so I will do his with baked beans and make up a few chips for him.

Will probably peel the potatos this morning, one less job to do after school!

A bit of ironing to do this morning, but if I whack on some music, it doesnt feel as if it takes too long:)

Right, off to make another cuppa before I wake the kids:D

    Morning Jamie!

I'm up with DD1 - the other two are at their Dad's as they don't go back today. I'm back in work and have been awake feeling grotty since 4am. For some reason I feel really horrible and down. I hope it's just the "end of the holidays" feeling.

Money is all on track and I'm going into the new year ahead rather than behind which is great after Christmas. I have resolved to not buy any lunches from the sandwich shops at work at all this year. My boss and I will have to take it in turns to bring stuff from home and essentially have "free" lunches. Today I'm taking lentil and vegetable soup with granary bread.
