Hi JD/et all
REALLY pleased to hear your OK JD. Take it easy this weekend (although it sounds like you're going to be). Enjoy your takeaway tonight.
Nice to hear your meter reading went down. Mine went up  God knows how that happened ! lol :rotfl: TBH I would rather stay warm and comfortable. We tried the extra jumpers thing and we were a bit wimpy and couldn't do it. So, we've decided to be warm and cosy and just pay the robbing b*ggers
.
Had a naff couple of days here (migraine) so haven't got much done at all. Went back to docs at they've put me back on the pill to try and control hormones - felt a bit of a prune going into chemist and getting contraception at my age :rotfl: ! OH thought it was funny
Nursing a poorly doggy here too this weekend. He had his manhood sorted yesterday and although a bit sore, is recovering really well. He's such a brave boy
.
Just about to have DSs new wardrobe delivered so I can finally get his bedroom sorted (his toys and clothes are all over my bedroom floor atm and I hate living in a mess).
Also want to get out into the front garden if possible. Got some trees that need cutting down and want to make a start on them. Going to be cold though
So, all in all quite a busy weekend. What's everyone else up to?:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -
Jamie, Glad to here you are on the mend

Heya JD and the rest of the gang!
Glad you are feeling a bit better and hope you are completely well soon!
I am stuck at work todayI work in IT at a Uni and 4 times a year we can work on the servers so I am sat in here upgrading them on my own! Shouldn't grumble I suppose as getting paid time and a half...and I have spent most of the morning watching tv on 4 on demand! So that's all good! The servers kinda look after themselves thank goodness!
Great to hear that you are getting your readings down. I have just had a price increase on the heating / electric...to £90 per month  CRAZY. Have tried switching the heating off etc and doing the jumpers thing, but am still cold so end up going to bed! I am being ALOT more watchful on my usage now though...that'll teach me
Enjoy your evening...I am hoping to catch a movie, the wrestler with Mickey Rouke but might leave it till mid week as might be too tired!

So glad the meds are doing the trick! Have a lovely night. I've been slogging at the housework and washing today. Friend round tonight and we're all having HM burgers. I think I might go and have a leetle nap so I'm not too tired tonight LOL!Wendy x0

Morning!
Our schools have been shut for last two days so have kids at home! No snow last night so I am assuming they will be back today.
Day 35
Total spends so far are £734.55
Total for february: £71.14/£585.07
Remaining to spend in feb = £513.93
Have a lot to get done and it will be a big spend day again today as I aim on getting everything I had planned on monday before the snow made that impossible! Plus other things I have thought of since then:D
A lot more decorating planned over the next three days before the weekend! Have almost finished the hallway now:) Will be moving on to the front room and finishing the kitchen this week.
Off to have a browse and make another cuppa now.....November NSD's - 70 -
Spent a fair bit in B&Q yesterday on paint and supplies. Also posted a parcel.
Total now spent in February: £75.81 out of £585.07
Leaves: £509.26 over remaining 24 days = £21.22 per day.
Thats pretty achieveable I think:)
If I can keep down my food costs this month then I should be back within balance by march:T
Off to library this morning and also a few other errands on my list. I managed to get most of the front room painted with 1st coat yesterday:) Will be finishing that and then giving the kitchen 2nd coat today hopefully!!!
Also, have booked the hall for DD 5th birthday party. Ive not done her a party before so we are both really looking forward to it!!!:D
Hope everyone has a good day:)November NSD's - 70 -
Morning Everyone:)
They days are really going fast! Cant quite believe we are day 37 already!
Got a lot done yesterday! Picked up the compost I needed, took back library books, ordered some invitations for dd birthday party.
Also nipped to tesco, picked up 4 large bags cat food, 36 toilet rolls and 6 bottles of squash and a few other bits and put petrol in the car:)
Total spend for february now: £111.55.
Havent had any more snow here which I am pleased about! As pretty as it is, it manages to bring so much to a standstill!!!
Spending a day at home decorating today as didnt manage to get any done yesterday!
What has everyone got planned for today?November NSD's - 70 -
Pouring with rain here this morning!!!
DD didnt sleep very well, she woke me up 3 times in the night and finally crept into my bed at 5am, so no going back to sleep for me!
Took the kids to a friends daughters birthday party yesterday, they had a great time:) Spent the morning stripping wallpaper in ds1&2 bedroom.
Have quite a lot I want to get done this week, BF is away for 3 weeks on a course, but back down on thursday for our Ikea trip. I have a parents evening and a meeting this week and want to get loads of decorating done as well as organising myself for half term next week.
Plans for today:
Nip into town first thing, have a couple of chores to do, maybe also pick up a few bits from iceland for half term week.
This will free up the rest of the day for decorating:)
List of decorating jobs I want to get done this week:
- Finish 1st coat in stairwell as I now have extension pole
- Do 2nd Coat in stairwell
- Paint 2nd coat in hallway
- Finish 2nd coat in front room
- Finish 2nd coat in kitchen
- Complete one wall stripping in ds1&2 bedroom
Will probably need to buy some more paint by the end of the week!:D Luckily its pretty cheap paint!
I wont be doing any painting next week while the kids are off school for half term, I am also hoping next week will be a cheap one after the Ikea trip this week.:D
I need to book my car in for its MOT in the next few weeks, its due 8th march and I have been putting aside money to pay for this so am not too worried.
Will update with spends etc after I come back from town...November NSD's - 70
