Teen music for me Wham, Maddonna, Bros etc (I know its bad but I loved it!!)
Miamoo, I was with you, even went to Bros at Wembley and queued outside the Marquee Charing Cross Road for six hours for the rehearsal 'gig'.
I'm all growed up now (even though I admit to having them on my shuffle just for nostalgic moments).
Feeling good today, the sugar surge at 6pm is def something I'll look out for.
Thanks for all your kinds words.

    Hiya Carrie M and welcome.......
sounds cliched but i went to bed early - think the first night it was something sad like 8pm - even I (although it has been known) won't drink in bed. Can only suggest have bath/shower early - don't do what you normally do (ie for me its sit down and put a movie on with a bottle wine) and take yourself a pile of mags, books or switch on the telly and watch/read relax in bed.quote]

Thank you for the tips and to everyone else.

I will try having a relaxing evening, long bath and listen to some relaxation stuff etc.

    Thanks for the support

    NOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spend an hour on the cross trainer, 20 minutes on a punchbag and THEN get down to the business of relaxing!

Before you try and guess that makes me 40. Not my fault the eighties happenned. At least it gives the kids a laugh at photos of my voluptuous spiral perm.

    :D:D:D:D

I met hubby in the eighties - he said I looked like one of Bananarama....the one with the long floppy fringe!

Now he just thinks I'm bananas!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

oooohhh yes and duran duran, teardrop explodes, spandau. I had the obligatory baggy white shirt and once (this was way before university btw) I went out (oh god no this is worse than confessing my drinking habits) once I went out with an Adam Ant white stripe across my nose:o :rotfl:

    some great music there!

never did the stripe or make up but loved the music - not spandau ballet though....ugh!

add on the cure, echo and the bunnymen and lots of other interesting stuff......are a lot of us a certain vintage then?
