    Morning all
    I'm afraid I'm on the naughty bench this morning. You see, I was on this wagon and it went over a pothole. There was such a big bump and I fell off the back! Everybody on board tried to grab my hand but no, there I was, sitting in the dust. However, I picked myself up after a good night's sleep (there was a comfy ditch to sleep in). The wagon had only gone a few yards and everyone was calling to me to jump right on up again. I didn't even have to make a big jump as there were loads of hands reaching out to pull me on board. I've even got my old seat back - the one with the comfy cushion....

    Phew! Here I am - back on board. I'm holding on tightly this time:T

    x

    Hold on tight. Sometimes life gets in the way of the wagon, and you have to hold on for dear life. It can seem easier to let go and fall off than stay on. That's an illusion as then getting back on is even harder
    Some people fall off and never get back on again, we don't want that to happen.

    HS (Knackered cos I was up at 2.37am refereeing a fight between 2 stray cats in my kitchen :confused: :mad:. And I need a new sprocket. Those 2 things are probably not related.)

    EDIT: Come on Arsenal! :footie:

    Jo I know you're there - you OK? I might guess why you're not posting, but then I might get it wrong. Talk to us!

    Lillibet I liked your post, we all so beat ourselves up when we fall off the wagon (me, today, having had a pretty good end-of-month run have decided to spoil it for myself..) see that's what I mean, we feel so bad but your post was upbeat about it which I thought was a good thing...makes it easier to get back on if not hating oneself. Not over-analysing am I? :D

    bhb "don't forget the goats":rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    (I can only do one quote at a time, how do you get more than one in a post?)

    Fay - bendy? I get dd bendy men in her xmas stocking can we do that to you?

    Dotty sounds like hard work....I hate to sound sexist :rolleyes: but I still think even in this day & age men see kids & housework as "her" job...he will see to the car & the garden. Sadly we all know which takes the most time (except for Molly & bhb who are on record as never dusting. along with several others on here).

    NTC dwelling on yr comment about publishing the whole thread......I wonder?......we could all be stars!

    Prob Jo's posted a 2-foot long post while I've been blathering.

    ETA no Jo, you haven't, what's occurring?x

    Thank you for all your kind words - glad it brought a smile to your faces! I am often told I have a 'pollyanna' attitude to life. The saying 'when life hands you a lemon, make lemonade' truly applies to me.

    I am holding on to the side-rail tonight but a little loosely -I may just lean out a teensy-weensy little bit over the back of the wagon because it is my birthday and parents are taking the children and I out to one of my favourite restaurants:T

    Hope this evening brings everything you hope for
