Glad Im not alone with my notebook:rotfl: in fact its probably appropriate to confess at this point that I do have a bit of a problem with stationery. I cant walk past a staples and paperchase sends me all of dither. Not ready to give it up yet though.
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: oh dear me too! Every drawer in my house is full of biros, staplers, post-it notes etc etc, I must have been deprived as a child.
Please include me on the March list, but I think I'll not have a target just say as many as poss (after all, that approach worked so well for Feb)

Winebox...why not try having a target...even if its just say three days...it would be more than this month and at least then you may exceed it which would make you very proud...IYSWIM
I dont know why we do the things we do to our bodies when we know how bad it is but I do know that if you do crack this eventually you will feel so good...
Please never stop trying.

DMP mutual support group number 444
Proud to be dealing with my debts at last :j0 -
Actually MP you're right, thank you, NTC pls can you put me down for 16 AF days, I reckon I'm "home alone" 4 or 5 nights a week so the womo clause should do it. And who knows, I might even get to 4 AFDs this month
as you so rightly say MP I mustn't stop trying.

And Maman at target too :T ...in updating the actuals I've forgotten to look at original targets so you've both got little jumping smileys in the list now. Is there no beginning to my talents?0 -
WB ((hugs))
Have to say I agree with MP with regards to the target. I know for a fact I would not have achieved as many days in Jan or Feb without the pleasure of coming back on the thread to say I had achieved another AF day or the pain of not:o Dont just stop telling us though this thread is all about support as you have eloquently pointed out to me before.
I wonder whether you need a real reason why you drink sometimes or if a lot of it is just a habit that has crept into our lives? Like you I dont have a compelling reason other than, as Jo puts it, the wine bell starts to ring at certain times or in certain places. I had no compelling reason why I smoked years ago but it was a very powerful habit that took some breaking, for me I think the drink is the same.
Anyway off for a coffee and a wander round the stationery cupboard in the office:rotfl:29th Feb Quit Day :j0 -

Odd how many habits haven't crept into my life...the daily jog, the weekly swim, doing any ironing, etc etc etc. Know what you mean though, but what's really dumb is that back at the start of Jan when I had I think 8 or 9 AFDs in the first 2 weeks, it wasn't even difficult, the habit of not drinking quickly established itself, so I can't understand why I've let it slide. I don't even seem to have a need for alcohol as such (this is going to start sounding barmy now)...by which I mean I can have beers in the house (& I love beer & lager) & ignore them...I thought I could ignore the wine rack as well but apparently not. So I'm going to keep the wine rack empty & get in a few cans of beer for when OH comes round, I don't want to have to be a BYO house!! The hostess with the leastest...
It's awful here - we don't even have a stationery cupboard  I'm so jealous. It's the only office I've ever worked in where I bring stuff in instead of the other way round :rotfl:0 -

Yes - only had my 4 units last night - it does help coming home late and having a plate full of home reared pork chops, mashed tatties and veg shoved in front of you first:D
Had a pre mixed tin of G&T for a change - to wean me off the beer. I am going to try and have something a little different here and there as I'm cutting down to break the habit of holding a can too.
Hope every is OK --
