Running late today - I got got by the big freeze!

Welcome to PP. I'm glad you're not going for 30 AF days in Feb I'm confused enough already :D :rotfl: . Lurkio I take my hat off to you for doing this all thro Jan - I already hardly know what day it is (nothing new there, then).

PBT where are you in W Wilts? I live between Lyneham & Chippenham, Miss P where are you in Swindon? I used to live behind the college up the hill from The Beehive in Old Town. Sorry everyone else, not meaning to start a Wilts Clique! (sounds vaguely rude...).

    Have a good day all.

Jo have a bone to pick with you am now a doubledeckerholic also ym is in trouble it's ever since he posted that photo of a bar for you!! :rotfl:

Jo I think I need to invest in some good decaf too - xx

I'm very fussy with coffee, only drink Dowe Egberts, keep an eye out for specials in Mr T's and stock up! Tried the decaf version for the first time this week and tastes the same as the caff. Or if you can't get that, try Cafe Direct Fairtrade decaf, that's good too :D

Hi & welcome to Lilith. I made a vow this year that I wouldn't buy any new clothes until everything I've got actually fits me......if I don't lose weight soon I'm going to look very scruffy! Erm, more so.

Jo sorry have to do this...it's consecutive! ;)

  • Welcome Lillith and good luck on the weight loss and cutting down. Be careful of replacing alcohol with high calorie no alcohol drinks, i found my favourite ginger beer has 150 calories in this weekend so its back to tea and tesco diet stuff for me:o (course the chocolate and crisps arent helping me lose weight either I guess:o :D )

  • WB, I'm in Liden in Swindon. I go near your way sometimes if you're between Lyneham and Chippenham - OH's kids live in Calne. Small world! Or is something about living in or near Swindon that makes you want to drink a lot?

P.s Beehive was an old haunt of mine when I was at college!

Sorry it's 2 AF Days now please.;)

I might have some people coming over tonight so I might have a few drinks but I am going to keep a tally of the units I consume. I looked up the DrinkAware website and it has a units calculator.

Regarding what people were saying about not feeling fun when they are sober I know what they mean. I have been out sober sometimes with people that are drunk and they really get on my nerves!

I think I also find other people more fun when I'm drunk, people seem more lively and funny. This is not the day after with the hangover obviously or the raised emotions when people are drunk and argue about silly things. I have suddenly got really pi**ed off with friends when we have been on a night out and the next day not really known why we had a row.:o

    Hope everyone is okay.:A
