    Hiya.

PAD £2.34 today to Rotten Egg Card.

I couldn't get to see my auntie yesterday, so I had to make do with ringing her instead. She sounds really poorly, it was quite a shock.

Daily Coffee Update: Day 21 of Lent: I still feel mildly depressed about things, so this is normally when I would reach for a coffee. I managed yesterday but that's because I didn't go in in the end, I went back to bed. I'll do my best today to avoid the brown stuff as I'm sure it won't make things any better. Still, at least I've passed the three week mark.

1 Day until the dreadest dentist.

    Hi everyone,

£5.00 PAD to DH Cap One card today. I have paid over £70 on my card from last pay day and my min payment still has to come out which is around £74 so will concentrate on DH card in the meantime. He is a little dubious over how great PADs are so it is my intention to convert him:D Off work today for St Patricks Day but DH in bed with a cold (man flu???) so wont be doing much. Bit of shopping and batch cooking on the agenda i think.

Hugs to vinternet - its awful when someone you are close to is ill as you feel so helpless. I have learned from personal experience recently that it really puts things into perspective. However the support from the lovely peeps on here really does help.:A

Hello all - welcome to the new folks!

So, today is St Patrick's day so a few random Irish themed facts before you all hit the Guinness.....

St Patrick's day is often associated with lots of drinking  ...but in fact, up until the 1970s, Irish laws ordered that pubs be closed on March 17.

An Irish toast: “The Scots have their whisky, the Welsh have their tongue, but the Irish have Paddy, who's second to none!”

St. Patrick was not born in Ireland, but in Britain

Ireland is moving north east at a rate of one inch per year. in fifty million years it will be part of Denmark

In case anyone was wondering, I am not Irish but I pretend I have distant Irish relatives for today as I love Guinness !! Yum Yum.

A measly £1.24 to SmEGG from me today.

Looking forward to payday in a week's time....moving house cash flow is hurting now. Don't you love it that when you OWE utilities they are all over you like a rash...but when they owe you...............??

Have a good day everyone. And hope things are looking up for the peeps who are feeling low.
