Hey! Fab total yesterday - what a great way to start the month!

PAD £1.02 to the Egg card today.

Daily Coffee Update: Day 6 of Lent. I feel ok today - have only had about 6 hours sleep but haven't felt the lure of the coffee bean yet. That's also saving me a couple of quid every day, so I'm well pleased. Still feeling low on energy though. xx

    :j Hello everyone,
sorry I haven't been around hope all is well and doing well with payments,
have had a few things being sorted this past week and
PAD is £76.05 will be alot more in a few days as the Loan money comes out. will also say OH payed £50 to the CC leaving £50 left and when I eventually get the cheque on refund for pictures £55 will be going right to the CC then we have te £600 OD to tackle well I give that 8 weeks at the most to clear.
But I will be electivly puttin myself into debt as I need to borrow some money for personal reasons £2,700 im going to get a budgeting loan and a loan off mum if she is ok with it, so no interest added what I get is what I repay
but I will have to do SOA and my repayment paper so me mum knows 100% paying her back the money :D *IF she lends me*
last payment for Creche will leave us with LOADS more in the bank for the flexi loan and the OD to clear.. things seem to be looking up OD will be £319.77 to clear and that wont take no time at all :j

  • Hi all,

Missed you all, sorry I have been so stressed and busy at work (and skint) that I had to let it go for the last couple of weeks.

Back on top and in control of things now, and keen to get back on the bandwagon so to speak!

Will post a PAD when I get home tonight, hopefully at a reasonable hour for a change :D
    Joint debt - £25,090
Wannabe debt free by 09/2011
  • After being a very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very naughty boy, I am today enjoying another LBM and refreshing my commitment to reducing my debts.

I have been spending my on Credit Card so all of the good work I did in January has been undone.

I've updated my signature today and made a PAD of £7.24.

I have some additional bills to pay (business advertising) which will be paid this week, and any money left over will go towards my CC.

MARCH GRAND PLAN : Make PAD's to CC totalling £100 + min payment.

    Hiya
Was too busy to post over the weekend but my payment today is

    £25.00.

From tomorrow I have to pay £20 a day to Scallyfax (hope you don't mind me using your name for them Double Trouble...I like that!). Part of me thinks we should pay the money into a building society account and pay the card off at the end of the interest free period. However, I get too obsessed about it so i'm going to chip away at it and watch the figures come down!

Well done to everyone on their payments however big or small xxx

Note for LondonAndy this is not a PAD just a readjusting of my debts and savings - sorry!

You are more than welcome to use Scallyfax Mudbath it was thought up for me by LondonAndy so I don't own the copyright:rotfl:

I have been through the pile of post that built up whilst we were away and found some credit card cheques from my other Scallyfax card so have decided to use one of the life of balance cheques together with borrowing from the car fund to pay off my big Scallyfax card as there is a large cash advance on it which is attracting a large interest rate. Because the cheque can be used for anything I am writing it as a gift to my OH then he will pay it into our account and I have transferred money from the car account so have paid off £6350 today to Scallyfax which with my direct debit and PADs I have made since last statement should be about enough to clear it. I had arranged to put it online yesterday so as soon as my password arrives I will be able to know for certain but there should only be a minute balance to pay which I will pay straight away. I will then replace the car fund money when I get paid at the end of April but in the meantime I will have saved over £100 a month in interest. This will mean all my cards and OH cards will be interest free except for my smaller halifax card which will be on a low life of balance rate. :j

So I think PAD from now on will be to the car fund and when that is done (which should be beginning of May) to savings to pay off the 0% cards as they fall due. So although I still have a large amount of debt it will only be costing me about £30 in interest a month :D whereas in Oct 08 it was costing me £840 a month . I can't believe that by being sensible I have been able to make such a difference to the cost of my debts. Sorry for the ramblings but I am so excited about being on top of things :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

I will adjust my signature when I have the proper figures from Halifax.
