    Thanks Katy :D
I'm really enjoying playing the sax, I've downloaded some free sheet music for Christmas carols that I've been learning, so we're going to be having a sing-along on Christmas day :D

I've decided that I'm going to put my Japan savings into my ISA, as I will get more interest & as I don't need the money until November it makes sense. I already have £461.39 in my ISA which brings my total to £761.39 :)

  • It is pouring with rain here, has been all week.

C was asking about getting a second Virgin media box for the bedroom, she bought a new flatscreen tv with inbuilt DVD player a few months ago, but as the reception in the bedroom is rubbish, at the moment it's just a very expensive DVD player.
I've just rang Virgin to ask about installing a second box in the bedroom (an installation fee of £35 then £9.50 a month for the same basic package as the front room) and the lady said cos I've been a customer for a long time (3 years) I was entitled to a free upgrade from my usual starter package for 2 months!
She said I would get extra movie, sports & music channels. I've checked as I got off the phone & I have tons of extra channels (well it seems tons to me, gone from 55 channels to 100 :rotfl:) also got a few cartoon channels, Disney etc.
Wife will be happy cos she's now got sports channels, I'm happy cos I've got cartoons & a horror channel. (Reminder already set for a horror film this afternoon:rotfl:)

Just need to remember to cancel before 7th of Feb!

I've also noticed I'm being charged £1.25 'paper bill charge' so better change that asap!
