It's expecially nice as she's buying the more expensive trainers

Hey all, well my first week of training has gone well...
Tues ~ 1 mile jog on treadmill
Wed ~ 2.19m jog
Thurs ~ 2.24m jog plus an hour of football training
Fri ~ Weights & swim at the gym
Sat ~ 2.73m jog
Sun ~ Body combat class, and swim at the gym.
This totals up to 8.16 miles run this weeka good start, but still a long way to go.
I'm off into town this morning to pay the registrar my notice to marriage, also got a 4.28 mile run mapped out, so we'll see how that goes.
I tried to buy my saxophone online on Sat, but for some reason it wouldn't recognise my card, will ring them up in a week or two and pay over the phone.
I'll be pack later on today to post my weigh-in for the weekDebt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Right...back with my scores
A small 0.8 lb loss for memust be the running working cos I've eaten a lot of junk this week.
My other scores...
Body fat % ~ 26.8
Water % ~ 50.0
Muscle % ~ 31.2
My body fat should be between 17%-24% so it's getting close, no where near the 46.something % it was when I first joined the gym!
Be interesting to see how these results change next week
I jogged 4.28 miles this morning, which is over half my total for the last week!!the first mile was hard, then I got into 'the zone' and the home stretch was easier.
Paid of notice of marriage now! So there's no going backwhile we were in town C also bought me my valentines present, a nice new shiny pair of running trainers
will have to break them in now!

A 2.4lbs gain for me this week
my other scores are also disappointing...
Body fat % ~ 26.8 UP to 27.6
Water % ~ 50.0 DOWN to 49.3
Muscle % ~ 31.2 DOWN to 30.7
On the plus I've had good results with training this week...
Mon ~ 4.28 miles
Tue ~ 2.19 miles - Plus weights & swim at gym
Wed ~ Rest day - 1 hour football training
Thur ~ 1.10 miles & 2.24 miles
Fri ~ Rest day
Sat ~ 2.39 miles (Walk/Jog)
Sun ~ 1.28 miles
Total of 13.48 miles this week
On Saturday I signed up for a taster course in 'half marathon training' at the community centre round the corner from me. I thought it would be all theory (run plans, diet and the like) so I turned up in my jeans. And had to nip home to change halfway thru as the tutor took us to the field next door for some interval training, then off for a short run.
Cos it was for all abilities there was too much walk/jog for my liking, and the jog was a bit slow, but I still clocked up 2.39 miles, and I enjoyed the company.
I've signed up for the next 8 weeks, so it will be good to help progress up to half marathon level

Gosh what a day  met up with C at 2pm and we went to look at the hotel we had in mind for the wedding meal & evening reception. Very nice, huge old hotel with tons of character!
The only problem was the size of the room for the evening do, we are planning on having a ceilidh and the room is just way too small, so we were shown into the ballroom and 'wow'! The spanner in the works however is that we would need a minimum of 100 guests, so would need to add about 20 people to the list, and the ballroom wasn't available for Sat 14th, but would be free (and at no cost) on the Sunday.
So we trotted up to the registry office to change the date of the wedding, no problem apart from the suite we are booked into is not open on a Sunday, and changing the suite would mean another £30 each for the notice  so we got the hotel on the phone and stood with the registrars diary and decided on Thursday 12th instead.
We were shocked at the price of the hotel (in a good way, lots cheaper than we thought) for £2360 we are getting...
Wedding meal for 40 people, evening do in the ballroom with a buffet for 100 people, free room for the night for me and C (we checked out the room too...beautiful) and breakfast in the morning too.
Everyone also gets a welcome drink on arrival at the hotel, a glass with their meal and a glass for the toasts.
Me and C are very happy
We now have the venue & the date, the next thing is to book the ceilidh, send out the invites and buy the ringsDebt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Wow sounds as though things are going really well - I like the idea of the Caelidh (sp!) and yes hotels normally throw a room in for the wedding couple which is nice :jDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

OMG just realised you had not bought the rings yet. dont ask me why but I thought you had already got them. I think it was because you talked about them before which made me think you had them.
Also considering how many people you are having going and what you are getting that is a really good price.
So hope that you are able to get ceilidh for a good price on the day you want it. Also still no news from photography guy. He wasn't there again last night to ask.
Also so excited about receiving the invitation. Cannot wait!!!!!

Omg I've not updated in ages!! Here goes...
Wedding ~ We have the wedding car sorted, one of the managers has said he will drive us in to the registry office in the company Jaguarwe'll get it decorated with ribbons etc of course. So we'll be going to the church in true MSE style...free
Menu options have been printed out to go in the invites, which will be written out tonight
Weight ~ I now weigh 162.8 lbs (11st 8.8 lbs) My target was 11 stone, but I think I've reached my equilibruim now, I can't seem to lose if I try (and I don't want to try any unhealthy way). I've decided to stop losing now, and concentrate on getting my body fat % down.
At the moment my percentages are...Fat 23.3 % - Muscle 33.9 % - Water 53.7%
PHM ~ Training is going well, I've just got back in from my longest non-stop jog yet of 5.33miles. And so far I've clocked a total of 42.4 miles during my training!
Debts ~ I was briefly in debt again when Abbey sent me my credit card statement after I had paid the balance. They had added payment protection of 1p!! So I sent off a cheque for a penny and I'm now DF again :rotfl:
My DF treat has been orderedmy saxophone will be arriving either tomorrow or Thursday. Can't wait
