Hi Mrs Moneypenny - good to hear from you! Have fun with your digital camera - I wouldn't be without mine. It's one of my prized possessions! I have some bits to post off to LH and Preemies so I will get that organised next week. I've made one hat so far this year but will definitely produce more this year. I bet we're all waiting for Chris Evans's baby to put in an appearance!

Hello and Happy New Year Everyone!
Have just subscribed to this shiny new thread and looking forward to producing some things. Currently fumbling through a baby blanket -got a bit adventurous trying different stitches and now sizing of squares is haywire- hope to be finished by March!
Love watching everyone's totals grow. Is anyone setting themselves any targets? If I commit to a target, it might make me brave enough to try knitting something other than squares. Hmm....0 -

Hi Carlislelass - sadly, the tubs are for tiny premature babies who don't survive and, yes, they really do fit into the tubs. The tubs themselves are beautifully transformed into cribs and bring a lot of comfort to the bereaved parents when they have to say goodbye to the babies. Preemies UK collect them and do a wonderful job with them. I've tried to find a photo of one to show you but can't find it at the moment. I'll post it if I find it.

K2tog - we used to have targets but they were always exceeded in very little time so we stopped setting them!
It's worth trying the baby things because they are all so tiny and don't take much time. Although you've struggled with your blanket, at least it's good practice!

Hi Ladies!
I am not a knitter but my mum goes to the Loving Hands meeting with Lou every week so I know how much time and love you all put into your lovely items. I also work in a Special care baby Unit and can't tell you how much we appreciate getting these beautiful hats, cardis and blankets. Thank you all so much. It really does make a difference.
Just wanted to say well done on all your hard work and to let you know you are all appreciated!
Have a fab 2009 ladies and keep up the good work!
