I've been more than a tad lazy tonight, so have got very little done.
Going to get another couple of gowns done tonight I think, then pack of my bits tomorrow morning to you Shelley. At least, that's the current plan!!
Am I alone in missing Kathy already?? :rotfl:

Snap - I haven`t got much done for the past couple of days as I`ve been knitting my elephant  - at least it`s in aran wool so it`s not so bad- just seem to have so many other things to do. Just as well I sit down now and again for a cuppa and can lift my needles then for ten minutes !without feeling TOO guilty! ( who me ?)
It`ll definitely be quiet on here without Kathy and I`m missing Maytaurus`s cheery pictures too - hope everythings OK with her & her mum.
Well, can`t sit here all night .................well maybe a wee bit longerDd`s away out so I have MY computer all to myself for a change:T so I`ll surf about a bit and look for some more patterns, as if I don`t have enough already.

Hi psso / Aeshna so agree with your comments - its a strange feeling knowing Kathy's not "checking" on us - miss her already. Maytaurus' absence leaves a sad gap in the day - best wishes to her and her mum.:heartsmil
Still, best get knitting and keep the numbers up - just finished a hat and had another boob job, don't know what to do next!
psso - is your elephant one of the free patterns? - I have loads of Aran including some lovely pale blue cotton/acrylic which may be good.
luv

Yes Pam,
It`s on the knitting pattern central website - comes under animals (haha) in the directory and he`s called Elephant, little blue, except I`m doing him in cream, `cos that`s what Aldi had and we don`t know if Dd`s friend is having blue or pink offspring so he`ll be Elephant, cream unisex - and he`s not VERY little !
I think I`ll be able to get a few more done (sometime) as the big ball of aran wool is still huge, but there will be a few little things done in between. Still have a scarf and a jumper on the other needles to do as well. I like to have a few things on the go as I get fed up after a bit and move on to something of a different colour :rotfl: DH says it`s the butterfly in me
Well I think I`ll go and do a few more rows before bed with a good book for a wee while. `See` you tomorrow.

He/she sounds adorable Elaine. A really good idea about having more than one item on the go at once as I used to get a bit bored, thanks for that.
Re the links. Go to whichever page you want and click on the address that's in the 'address bar' then go to "Edit" and select "Copy". Go to the post you want to reply to and after clicking on "Reply" go to "Edit" again and select "Paste" so your web address comes up on the (best to put it at bottom part of reply so it's easy to see for you to copy) bottom.
Write your text, then to get a link in use part of a sentence such as: "The pattern was found here."
Then left click the mouse and drag it across the word here so it's shaded over and leave it like it. Then look just above the reply area for the little pic that looks a bit like a globe on top of a paper clip. Click on it and copy the address into the space given using www (after the http:// bit) before the actual address.
Unclick the filled in "here" word you shaded over and you'll see it's feint, but that's because it's got the link in to your chosen site. Ready to post? Submit as normal and voila, there it is when anyone clicks on the word "here".
I hope that makes sense, if not I'll be only too glad to help further. Have a practice, you can always get rid of it if you can't work it out the first time or two.

Too thick for a scarf? Maybe do more strips, sew them together for a rug or blanket - depending on chunkyness of it? You are definitely underway though!0 -
