It's on Vodafone....Use your judgement, and above all, be honest with yourself.

Just had a look at T&C see : http://www.teddyfone.com/Teddyfone_Airtime_T+C.pdf
Section 1.3 and 1.3a is worth a read for starters. You must keep phone in good working order during period of contract. They can ask for it back at end of contract. If you dont return it in good working order they can charge for it.Or if its not working when you return it they can charge to repair it.PF.0 -
If I had a child that is too young to have a mobile phone and felt I needed one of these to keep track of them, then it would be time to seriously look at my suitability of being a parent at all. Still i'm sure they will be handy for slobs0

wow your first post and you're coming in and slagging people off! gee, nice to meet you too and how was your day?
i don't think for one moment that anyone here is sugesting you give these to a child that is too young to be out on their own in the first place!
however i'm sure that many parents find that while they'd like to allow their children more freedom and space to go at the same age as when they were kids they don't feel it's a safe enough world these days.
something like this helps us to allow our kids more breathing (and consquentally growing) space so we don't have to become totally overprotected in response to our concerns about childrens general safety these daysfounder of Frugal Genius UK (Yahoo Groups)0 -
I've ordered one but it looks like they will ask for bank details from you.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

Sorry if I caused offence but I just pictured a 4-5 year old playing out in the road, "but are safe as they have their teddy mobile with them in case they get into trouble!"0

Even though I've ordered one I find it wierd that they are offering phones aimed at children so young. Surely if they are being looked after properly and under supervision they wont need one?2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040
