Hi cupcake,
As Don and bat have said, you'll get all the support you need from the FREE debt charities listed in the link bat's given. They are unbiased, and will support you throughout your debt journey. PLEASE PLEASE don't go with any company that charges you for its services - you get a better, unbiased service from the charities. Again as bat says, get advice from 2 of them, just to be sure!! hth CBx0 -
What a lovely response...thanks ...I have an interview booked with the CCCS middle of Jan...but people keep telling me that they work in the favor or the creditor and not the debtor so I am a bit lost and time is running out...0

CCCS is paid for by the creditors I believe which is why you should get second opinion. CCCS do have an online debt remedy service too which you could try on their website.
Why is time running out? What is the problem?BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -

Woh call your creditors???? why its nowt to do with them, they will just feed you a load of liesThats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….0 -
Don time is running out because i have been negleting the situation and feeling totally out of control of the situation because of all the charges they have been pilling on ... i suppose i have felt a bit depressed and hopeless ... but i really want a solution ... and to have a bit of control over my finances again...0

Hi cupcake, you don't need to contact your creditors regarding getting advice from the debt charities. I'm a bit confused by your last post, tbh. Definitely do the CCCS online debt remedy, but do get advice from NDL or CAB as well! Best wishes CBx0

Sorry I meant the post before last!:o Gosh things move quickly when the alcohol's affecting the typing!0

cupcakelovely77 As long as none have started legal action there is no rush (within reason).
Do you want to start from the top and tell us your situation, the more detail you can give, without giving any identifying details, the better.
The more we know the better advice we can giveThats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….0 -
OK, well unless things have gotten as far as CCJ's which you do need to deal with, then do not get too worried. You have come to the right place, forget about telling your creditors, telling them that you are seeking advice will only buy you a couple of weeks peace at the most. But do get advice about whether BR is the best option for you and come back and chat with us.
We all do feel depressed and hopeless when we first come here and I was the same when I first came on here but now I am feeling so much better and positive so you will find a solution to suit you.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0
