cos my interest rate is base rate minus 1% and I fancy a new card!
Others have reported being offered the intro rate again (currently 6.5% AER) for 12 months when they've intimated they'll be moving their account elsewhere. ;)

And as for "I fancy a new card", well...

Unless you have older current accounts elsewhere, all this moving around will be impacting on your credit rating because 'time with bank' is a criterion in any credit scoring.

Hasn't been available to new customers for 12 months now, and is about to be withdrawn from existing customers as well. Expect a letter this month...

£5 a month is less than half of what i was earning before!

surely this cant be right, will cost a fortune, atm i dont get charged for using my ARRANGED overdraft

Customers using an arranged overdraft of up to £2,500 will be charged £1 per day for each day they use their overdraft. The OFT study into 'Personal Current Accounts in the UK' published in July this year showed that around two-thirds of all active accounts didn't use an arranged overdraft.

    Cashback Cashier
Norwich & Peterborough Building Society have a good account, The Gold Current Account. They unfortunately have dropped the interest rate to 0%, unless you pay in £1500 and opt out of paper statements.

But their customer service is 2nd to none!

Maybe not charged, but you'll pay 6.9% EAR interest though? Recent discussion here...

You'd make more by using a cashback credit card, or 0% on purchases card.
