Nor me, must be a blip on their system.
There are a lot of mixed reviews on Tripadvisor, now not sure whether I should stay at The Stratosphere as at least there I've got no problem with two children in the room.
At the moment I've booked 2 nights MGM Grand, 3 nights at Luxor and 2 nights at Mandalay Bay. All hotels are now at the same end of the strip so am re-thinking it and perhaps should go back to the Strat.0 -
The Secret GardenAnyone used the Airport Checkin for the MGM
can you still check in if your flight arrives before 3pm
also anyone booked the shuttle with them at $8 pp is it worth it?:hello: LORRAINE :hello:0 -

I would agree that 3 hotels that close to each other might be a lot of moving for places so close to each other, though if you're following the deals then maybe it's worth it...but if you do move back to Strat for part of the trip, might make sense for it to be the earlier part of your trip rather than later - after staying even at MGM/Luxor/MB which are far south I think Strat will seem all that much more remote after being within a relatively short walking distance to other hotels.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Thanks Ferf, I was originally doing Strat 2 nights, then we are off to the Grand Canyon for one night, we come back to Vegas on Sunday have have 3 nights booked in at Luxor, we then have 2 nights at MB. Due to the MGM deal I was swopping Stat for the first two nights. I know it is a lot of moving around but we can't make up our minds where to stay - just too much choice and too many offers !0 -

From memory the airport check in is in another terminal so its better to go direct to check in at the MGM itself.

The Bellagio FountainsQuick Q, we're hiring a rental car through netflights. A rav4 or similar it says, are these likely to have shelfs so we can hide the luggage? as hoping to do a bit of driving around for a few days and don't want it on show.
it will depend on the model you are given. we had a Toyota Highlander once and it had a pull out cover that hid whatever was in your boot. also the best SUV i have ever driven over there.Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -

As Stew said, it's in the main terminal, not the international terminal...so unless you're flying indirect it's not worth the hassle of getting to the other terminal...it opens at 10 or 11 am.
As for shuttles - we don't think they are worth it...for 2, a taxi to most parts of the strip will cost the same or less than the shuttle and will take a lot less time...I think the only time the shuttle is good value is if you're a solo traveller and even then, I would still take a taxi myself.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I have mentioned before about the MGM and their rooms, You can only request a room type (as with most hotels) and both times I have stayed there I requested 2 queens non smoking and ended up with a King bed and a rollaway. next door was a couple with 2 teenagers in a king bed room with 2 rollaways. It is the only hotel in Vegas i havent got the room I have requested and it has happened twice.
You can definitely check in without the head count as only one of you needs to go to check in with the two adult passports. The problems could start if they give you a king room and then you ask for 2 rollaways. Not saying it will happen but it def could.
have you thought about the orleans for those 2 nights, On their website you cant add the kids but if you call them and tell them that they are both under 12 , I dont think they would charge. there is a cinema and bowling alley on site and a shuttle to the strip. there are some offers for there on fatwallet i think from $36 a night0
