Those are some serious areas to bring into line; best wishes on not losing out too much.

    Hi MQ,

Really pleased to see that MBing is a major feature!! :rotfl:

Come and join my eBay thread on the DFW board. I'm using my profits to have my house done up but need to get my skates on if I am even going to manage to raise £100 - oops.

You've done so well and it must feel great to know that the mortgage will be gone next year. :T

    Hi All,

have done a bit of MBing this week not as much as I intended to though.. The weather was really nice and dry which is generally rare in the part of Scotland we live in so didn't want to stay at home the whole day... But had a very nice time and for once did not think about finances.

Also did a bit of gerdening... I made 2 hanging beskets myself this year using stuff already at home, though had to buy some plants for £7 but still cheaper than £20 that we usually pay for the ready made baskets :T

Also this year we are thinking of spring cleaning the house ourselves instead of paying someone to do it as we used to do earlier so will be taking couple of days off for that and hopefully will be doing some MBing and Ebaying this week

    Take care everyone

    Morning MQ,

Very good on the garden front. For two years I have had plans to sort out the garden and its contents but haven't managed it yet!

I've signed up to a few bookies this week but haven't done anything with them. Must try harder but can't seem to find any decent matches even with 'help'.

And when you finished spring cleaning your house, could you come and do mine please? :rotfl:

Well, it was DH's idea to do the cleaning ourselves. I will send him over. and then I can do some MBing peacefully ;)

    Hi All,

Can I be forgiven for not providing an update for April please

because I just don't have any figures

    Reasons:

    - Had a virus attack on my m/c this month so have lost the april spreadsheet
    - Have been very busy this month at work and also with other stuff (read : lazy)
    - I am trying to do an update for April today but as it already includes May Finances, I am getting very confused as I have moved quite a bit of money here and there during the last few days due to MBing
    - I don't even know how much we have spent this month on Grocery and Miscellaneous as quite a lot of it was cash (Due to the virus attack, we had to get our cards blocked for some time)

So, I will provide an update for May

Got a mail few days back which I checked today only from Egg Money that they no longer will be paying 4% on +ve balances so am moving all money from there. have decided not to put this in a savings account, but use it for my MB Flaot for a month or so and then will use this money to pay DH's 0% card in full next month

On the plus side, DH has been doing some overtime this month and he did few hours last month also so 31st May's salary should look good:j

And spring cleaning (that we had to do ourselves) has not been done yet even though it is May now

Reason - weather has been really good the last few weekends so did not want to stay inside...

I think I will have to join Flylady thread again
