    Could also be the resister, an air lock in the system or blocked vent only letting cold air through...

  • Every vehicle i've ever bought from a dealer has been 'just serviced'. I never yet found a vehicle that actually has!

    Plugs, oil and air filters cost next to nothing and make a huge difference in the peformance of the vehicle. Not saying thats the problem, but if they haven't been changed in while, it's worth doing.

    Very common problem with fiesta's. Happened to both fiesta's we've had in our household.

    Take it to a ford specialist and it should take them half hour to fix. Not necesarily a ford garage just someone that specialises in fords.

    yeah, i had the same on my KA. Idle air control valve. 1.3 petrol "Endura" engine.

    My mechanic cleaned it with the spray brake cleaner.
    I beep for Robins - Beep Beep
    & Choo Choo for trains!!
  • not taking to a Ford garage - cant afford it. Hopefully this mobile mechanic will fix it later
