Thanks for getting this going again Lillmissup.
January starts on 27 December for me! I have already had my first NSD for Jan. I am away for some of January so will aim for 6 NSDs altogether.
Off to declare on last month's NSDs. Only made it to 7 out of 8!

Every time I get my card or cash out of my purse I count it - otherwise I'd be tempted to "fudge" and / or waste loads of time trying to work out if this or that counts or not. I'm all for the easy option, me!
It helps that my life is fairly predictable and so my plans don't often go awry.
It also helps that magazines bug me so I'm not often tempted any more. (All the pointless "slebs" and the fashion and beauty articles pushing whatever the advertisers want them to just annoy me!) On the rare occasion that I buy one I always regret it.
I'm trying to be greener so I'm not buying much "stuff"...
I'm trying to lose weight / eat healthily so I'm not buying snacks...
I've sort of lost interest in clothes cos of sweat shops, child labour and the ecological impact. Plus there's rarely anything I'm excited about in the shops in any case. And fashion's so blimmin' artificial isn't it? I buy things I look nice in and wear them until they need replacing. Sod "the trends"! It's not as if I was going to wear a ra ra skirt or a pair of harem pants anyway!
I do buy the occasional book or download some music but I try to borrow or hire if I can. (I have more YouTube Playlists than anybody!) I do love a good gig but it has to be someone amazing to make me spend £100+ on tickets and travel for one night out these days.
My lovely family just replenished all my "essential" beauty luxuries at Christmas time for me so I'm all stocked up for about 6 months at least. (and I do all my own beauty treatments cos basic waxing costs about £100 a month these days and that makes me demented to even think about spending it.)
I love a night out giggling with the girls - but I'm just as happy having a natter on someone's sofa as going out to a bar. Or having them all round to me (People bring stuff!) And I've been to student nights and got completely hammered and danced like a loon all night for about a fiver. (Lightweight!
)
So there's not actually that much for me to spend money on really?!
I've just realised that all this sounds very grumpy old woman - but whilst I am proud to be a bit of an old bag at timesI'm not morphing into Victor Meldrew I promise!

I am in!
for 18 no spend days.
scary but I am deeply skint (car insurance) and trying to not spend my monthly allowance so I can still make over payments.
If I only spend on Friday's and Saturdays I should be fine the rest of the week.
