  • Had my second NSD of the month yesterday, and am aiming for another today. I will be popping out later for milk and bread, but will be using some co-op vouchers that I've been given so am not counting the spend for NSD and GC purposes :D

Hope everyone else is doing ok, have a good day all x

  • Today will defo be a spend day for me - I'm going to the comedy club tonight with the girls. But I'm driving - which should keep the spend low! I'll also try and squeeze in any other spends that I need today - so that I don't sabotage another Shiny NSD laster in the week....

    Happy no-spending everyone

Was determined to have 4th NSD today, had made packed lunch and everything, HOWEVER have a very very posh awards do with work at the end of the month and had nothing to wear (not in the sense of nothing I want to wear but literally as in nothing vaguely posh enough).

My inner MSE voice told me to go to Marks and Spencer in my lunch hour and I found a perfect dress for £5, which when I took it to the till was actually only £3! All of which is far too much information but I was so chuffed I had to share it!

NSD tomorrow tho and hopefully Sun too

Count me in please! Just voted myself to manage 10 NSDs in January and I've done 4 already this week! I suppose I don't want to over commit just in case. But who knows? I could far exceed that target, which would be brilliant!

  • Hi
Looks like another nSD today for me plus Amazon emailed and said that they were refunding the poor product I bought off the marketplace (yes)

I don't mind the poor product that much but i do object to the supplier not responding lol

    Good grief

I feel guilty today, had 3 NSD's this week (:j ). I had a spending day today on essentials but doing this challenge has made me think hard about my spending and that's why I feel this way.

    Today I spent;

    Flea/worm treatment for Mr Dog - £22.41

    Pair windscreen wipers - £13.60
    New oil filter - £7.51
1L of oil to top up - £12

    Petrol - £20

Morrisons - £15.77   TOTAL: £91.29:eek:

GOOD GRIEF!! The petrol is for work commuting, the car parts are needed, the dog treatment is a month overdue and needed and i did a very careful shop at Morrisons.

I wouldn't have blinked in the past at spending like this and would never have added it up, I would have just ignored it. Now I am recording my spending in my diary it is shocking me how much I spend and did spend in the past.

:D I thank you all for this challenge as I can see how it has affected my thinking but now I need to not do anymore grocery shopping for a while and have some good NSD's next week, might aim for 5!!;)
