Hi
Totally new on here but have seen this challenge over the past few months and decided to bite the bullet and join in!
Going for 12, just because it seems like a nice middling number! Am including food shopping as I walk past Tesco on my way home from work and seem to always have a reason to pop in there and fritter away cash.
Didn't spend over weekend though so counting that as 2/12.
Good luck everyoneBarclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
Afternoon and hello to any newbies,
NSD number 2 for me.
Won't be one tomorrow though as I have to get some essentials from Tesco's and post two parcels.

Hi there,
Can I join the challenge? I'm a bit late though! My aim is 10 NSDs for January. I'm not counting regular household bills and food shopping, but will count parking costs (the bane of my life!), buying food at work and any other 'personal spending' if that's OK.
I can start with one NSD yesterday - woo hoo! I resisted going into town for a mooch about - would have ended up buying a puzzle book or some lunch or something. No more!
Thank you,
AliNot Buying It 20150 -

Knew I couldn't go into town without spending money. Had to spend £3.50 on friend's xmas pressie as I picked up wrong size and needed extra to get her something else - gave her a size 16:eek: and she's only a 10:o . So from there spent £2 on pasties - I know, I know, but ds and I were a bit peckish! Bought a top in sale for £8.99 - again I know, I know but it was a bargin and I am short of those types of tops:D .
On a positive note, I was going to buy this bin which was reduced from £85to £49.50 and I have wanted this bin for ages - I know, really sad aren't I? However, I resisted and came home binless. I was also going to buy a pair of merrell slip on clogs with sheepskin - tried to convince myself that my slippers had had it and these would be a good substitute, but ..... guess what? I managed to talk myself out that it was a 'want' rather than a 'need', so I didn't buy those either - so that's me £75 up - yippee!!!!!!:j :j :jWhen you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0 -
I may, finally, be on track for my first NSD of 2009! All attempts in the previous 4 days have been well and truly thwarted!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Well done to all those who are on track for their targets.0 -
hi
well returned to work today and managed to walk home through town and stay out of all the shops. Popped into the bank to change up some notes for kids bus fares and clubs, would usually have popped to supermarket to buy something to get change. I now have enough change to see them through till the end of the month. This should keep me out of the shops. so another NSD 2/14:TMortgage free 25/9/2019 8years and 7 months early 😁😁😁0 -
