It'll be a nsd for me today, no cash in my purse! Very good for the nsd challenge, rubbish for the sealed pot challenge...

Not planning spending anything today. I've brought in my homemade soup and homemade bread for lunch. Dinner will be ready when I get home and I don't need anything else.

I have bought my son an Ipod but this was his Christmas present which I ordered before Christmas from Pixmania. They failed to deliver so I got a refund and bought him one from Apple instead. So not really a spend.

    Have a good day everyone.

Can I just ask folks whether you class a day when you buy groceries as an NSD? I know it's up to me how I do it but do most of you class it as a spend day if you just spend your money on frivolities (for want of a better word!) I bought some vitamins on Saturday that strictly speaking we didn't really need so I called that a spend day, but yesterday I bought milk and ketchup and didn't consider that a spend day. What do you all think? Am I doing it right?

i class anything ive spent money on as a spend day whether its the weekly shop or not. a NSD for me is exactly that not spending a penny
If we can put a man on the moon...how come we cant put them all there?

Just postponed my 12p library fine till next time because I didn't have change and the library didn't either - going out tonight though so still might not be a NSD. Drinks are free after 7pm but am going out at 5. Hmm, can I survive on water until then?!
  • I'm declaring today as NSD no 2/20 - only 18 more to go......

Kessik - the only spends I don't count are direct debits (so basically just rent, phone and bank loan), everything else counts for me since it's obviously a variable figure!!
