Well I am still on the wagon, which is just as well as I failed dismally in January grocery challenge. I have brought no clothes shoes etc, but have brought a bra which doesn't count according to challenge rules(I brought it on sale anyway so was quite cheap). Hope everyone is doing well and staying strong:beer:Thailand 3010/15000 20150

That is the correct amount. I decided not to convert and just stick to $100 AUS as I am in such debt that this year has to be very tight. I am sooo over being in debt. Thanks for the encouragement, it helps heaps:beer:Thailand 3010/15000 20150 -
Hi all!
I'd like to join please......pointed in this direction by a fellow MSE-er from the long-haul thread. This was when I asked for help to demotivate me from spending on clothes & etc.....had been very good, then as we are away next weekend, found myself studying clothes catalogues (& if truth be told, folding down the corner of pages....oops). So far I've only spent on underwear/sleepwear since Jan 1st & I can definitely shop 'from my wardrobe'
probably for some considerable time!!New start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . Long haul DFW #145 : 2011 DEBTBUSTING : £5500 OD GONE, £2000 OD - GONE £93,610.30 cc & loan debt - GONE 27.6.14 FINALLY DEBT & MORTGAGE FREE :happyhear0 -

Had to buy a new pair of jeans today (eek!) but had some vouchers for New Look so used those (and the jeans were only £10 so still some vouchers left over too!). My mindset seems to have changed at the moment, as before I'd have just spent all the vouchers on stuff I didn't need and more besides, but now I'm all reformed and a DFW I'm thinking I'll wait until there's something I need or desperately want0

Hi I am a total lurker and have been for a while. Please can I join in with the challenge? I haven't bought any clothes in 2009. I am totally struggling right now though. I've been doing so well at paying off my debts, bills, catalogues etc. and have freed up so much credit. I'm tempted to blow it all on clothes in one fell swoop:eek: . And I'm tired of shopping my wardrobe. It really IS a load of rubbish in there :mad:0

Hi
Have to confess, I bought a two pack of nighties from Mr A when I was there the other day for the grand total of ............. £1.25 ! They were on sale for £2.50 but when they went through the till they went through at half price again. How fab is that, 62.5p per nightie. I never normally get bargains like that. Someone must know about me being on this challenge. Lula can you update the list and I will update my signature. Thanks.I got there - I'm debt free and intend to stay that way. If I haven't got the cash, it doesn't get bought. It's as simple as that.0
