Won't be long before those from abroad start noting the bargain-basement prices to them in terms of Euros/whatever. With the general drop in house prices, coupled to the plummetting pound Sterling, housing stock (and companies) must be looking extremely cheap to anyone with a chestful of a decent currency...

As I understand it people from abroad are already eyeing up the UK property market. I suppose we'll have even more foreign landlords now.

Yeah, they're eyeing it up. Biggest house price bubble in the world, in a UK economy built on debt, with collapsing banks, a failed government and a falling currency. Rising unemployment, no natural resources, no industry.

Sounds like just the place to invest some money.

I read the same about foreign property investors keeping a close eye on the market in the UK, and waiting to jump in when they feel the time is right. Quite a few Russians apparently

YOU SO CALLED INVESTORS ARE UP TO YOUR EYES IN DEBT AND THE FIGURES FOR BLT GOING BUST ARE MASSIVE..
I PREFER TO CALL YOU RACKMAN INVESTORS.
YOU ARE COSTING THE PEOPLE MORE FOR THEIR HOUSING DUE TO THE FACT THAT YOU HAD TO INSANELY PAY MORE FOR YOUR ASSETS HENCE THE HIGHER COSTS OF RENTED HOUSING AND TO BE ABLE TO MAKE A PROFIT OUT OF SOMEONE TRYING TO GET A ROOF OVER THEIR HEADS.

I am a mortgage free invester.

Wobble your head and see if it makes sense.
