I went into a largish Boots today - neither machine was working, which was annoying as I was hoping to take advantage of any offers from that - but they did have quite a good selection of TimeD and Daniele Ryman products. Having decided that I would treat myself to some DR on BOGOF and pay the extra I chose Replenishing Facial Wash and Reviving Bodywash. (One @ £10.50 and one @£9.50 so £10.50 on BOGOF and £5 deducted for the TD/DR voucher = £5.50 for £20 worth of lovely products). I had gone there with a voucher from my small local Boots - just as well as there were NO yellow/peach leaflets on display (but plenty of others!)

I also spotted some of the Essential Aromatherapy candles, the blue ones @£1.49 so got 2 of those. I knew that the till would deduct £1 for EACH EA product when I used the £1 voucher from the purple leaflet as that has happened to me before, so these rang up at just 49 pence each.

I asked a SA about facial sponges to use with the DR facial wash (might as well use it properly if I am going to Change One Thing, lol) and she was really helpful. She took me to the sponges section then decided that I would do better with a baby sponge/pad thingy called a 'ramer soft baby sponge' and found me one of those @ £1.35. Hope this helps anyone who bought the same product and is wondering how best to apply it!

Of course, having got some good deals as I stood waiting to pay I saw some cough and cold cures at the till on special offer for 99 pence. I picked up 3 different products - however, 2 scanned at the full amount. The SA then went back through my receipt (spotting the bargain candles!) and had to refund the amount then put them through a second time. She asked for my Advantage Card for the refund, which I thought was a bit tight if I was going to have the points deducted when it wasn't my fault - when I checked my receipts afterwards no points had been taken off...but I did have some more added for my second purchase of the same items (at the correct price!)

Sorry to be so long-winded - but my point is that with so many new offers starting this week (or so the SA told me) and others finishing there are several offers that are NOT automatically working through the till - so do watch out!

Oh - and I got a £3 off haircare voucher for spending over £10 - so all you T&G convertees can go out and buy more products!

I suppose we will be moving away from the fun of these relaxing, de-stressing bargains soon - but thanks to all posters for sharing tips on how to maximise the bargains to be had - I am now so relaxed thanks to the candles and all the other goodies that I'm not sure that I will be able to get to grips with any new deals very quickly!

Saw a pink leap pad from age 4 the other day reduced to £12.49 but not sure if it was the writing system.

Was in Boots today hunting out the "Change one thing" booklets :o and in the photography section they had shelf labels saying that selected albums and frames are half price. :T
I got some lovely flip albums that hold 100 photos, one with a natural paper cover with a leaf on the front, one that is a turquoise colour with a starfish on the front and one that is metallic blue, all at £2.50 each!
    I'd definitely recommend a visit :)

I did that - emailed Colgate saying how great their product was etc etc - and they sent me 2 huge boxes of miniatures!!! - last year and we're still going through it.

I gave it to all the trick or treaters with the sweeties - mums seemed to appreciate it even if kids didn't -lol
