Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 5

Firstly sorry if I waffle on a bit but I'm excited :j :j :j :j
I couldn't find any of the orange leaflets in my area up until now and Liverbird kindly sent me some by post last weekend.
Day off today so I trotted off, eagerly clutching my vouchers. My first stop was to my local branch (Hailsham) and Boots had totally cleared the shelf of all TD stuff and none of the DR stuff stocked as it's a small branch.
I was gutted but didn't want to be beaten so I drove 7 miles to my next nearest Boots in Eastbourne. I walked through the door and looked for the TD stuff. OMG I thought to myself. The shelf had wipes and lip plumper then the other more expensive stuff which I couldn't afford, even with the money off. I picked up 2 lip plumpers and 2 lots of wipes and walked to the counter. The store manager was the only person serving so I gave him a nice big smile and said " would you mind putting these through separately so I could have all 4 of these items" He was really nice and did as I asked. I was walking out the store and saw lots of the orange leaflets in the promotion stand so I grabbed a few and left the rest for anyone else that wanted them.
I then realised it was nearly lunch time and thought they might change over SA on the tills so I hung around for 15 mins and popped back in. Sure enough a nice young lad was now at the till. I couldn't afford to buy any more products so decided to just get some wipes. I picked up 4 packs and walked to the till, then asked him to please put them through separately, giving him a big smile at the same time. He just smiled back and did as I asked.
I walked out the shop so happy and pleased. It's the first things I have managed to get and I have 2 daughters and 2 sisters and I am going to give them a pack of wipes each, leaving myself with 2 packs which I am happy with.13 yr old daughter is having the other lip plumper which she will love.
I just wanted to say a big thankyou to everyone for this thread. I am thrilled to bits with my things and wanted to share (or bore you) with it.
Thanks again

Cheltenham High Street store are updating all of their skincare displays, and DR is no longer on BOGOF
However, managed to find the last two TD Handcreams hiding behind the nightcream, so two freebies for me!
I also got some Essential Aromatherapy Relaxing Pulse Point Gel. These were reduced to 50p each, so I took two to the till and used the £1 voucher from the purple leaflet and got them both free. I then took two more from the shelf, grabbed another leaflet and toddled upstairs, where I also managed to get a new hand-mixer for half-price (and I paid with points!) because they were having a clear-out of loads of kitchen appliances, including coffee-makers, water filters, etc. I don't know if every Boots store is doing the same, but there were some good bargains there.
So, I've got quite a good little collection of Boots freebies now and will be able to make up some lovely baskets for my friends0 -

Dear Ginvzt (I hope that is right!)
There is a £5 voucher for a Lumie clock in the lilac leaflet, if that helps you buy it.

hey! i left loads, its the SA's whove removed it all!:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -
Noticed a new Boots 17 cosmetics promotion in town today, in association with FrostFrench, free with a £5 spend - can't see it online yet, but it was a pretty box the same size as last autumn's No 7 GWP box, and comprised two (I think they were new colours/ltd edition) nail polishes, and a few other manicure bits. Didn't have time to get one today, so no idea if it'll have the usual money off voucher inside as well, but seemed quite a nice offer anyway.
*edit* Found it online - http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=10690140 -
empty td shelf in birstall but loads of leaflets - picked up a few more so if anyone wants some pm me. no essential aromatherapy range there so wasted trip. did bob into sportsworld next door & got some bargains though! no decent offers for me on ad machine, but did find a discarded £3 haircare voucher on floor outside! is there anything under £3 u can get with these?Cleaning the house while children are growing is like shovelling snow when it's still snowing!0
