  • Would anyone be able to provide a quick review of any gym equipment they have managed to obtain from Boots?

Boots Cribbs Causeway had plenty of leaflets (all types), no TD under £5, but a whole shelf of EA lavender bath powder, SEL £1.99 but scanning at £1 so free. One assistant let me use four vouchers, but the second I tried insisted on putting each transaction through separately.

I got two Betty Boop nail varnish sets, (clear, pale pink and white) for just £2.50. I also had 150 points voucher but the A/C maching wasn't churning out anything nice for me today.

Still, I went home happy with a whole bag of goodies!

ragtimeplayer - where is the boots in wakefield - i live in dewsbury but normally go to birstall or white rose as u have to pay to park in wakefield (stingy i know!) - is it the one in the Ridings centre? really need a gymball but they don't stock them in the other stores.

  • Ah well, first thing tomorrow, I'll be knocking on Boots door, armed to the teeth with my own vouchers and bringing home bargains galore ;)

Are you sure Wakefield Boots is open on Sundays? might be worth checking, I thought it was only open Sunday in the weeks before Christmas

PS Yes it is in the Ridings centre.

I have used only 1 voucher and got £1 off every EA item I have bought in one transaction.

Did a test buy and bought two items. And then went back and bought 4 more items and it took £1 off each item. I pretended to be surprised.

Does anyone know if there is much EA cheap left in Bath southgate.

  • I don't think this has been posted yet but just flicking through this month's issue of New Woman magazine (March 2006 page 30) and there is a full one page advert.

Free No.7 gift worth £33 - there is a lilac bag, a nail varnish, mascara, beauty serum, uplifting day cream, time resisting hand cream, intelligent colour foundation and a lipstick.

£15 spend must be in a single transaction, see in store/online for details. Offer available from 1st February to 28th March 2006. Whilst stocks last.

    Hope this helps someone

hi WELSH-DRAGON no I was very cheeky today and just handed over both vouchers and asked if could use both, she looked at them, asked the lady beside her who was a supervisor, and I said my mum had got one in Bath and she said if the till accepts both then there is no problem, and as I knew it would, it did.
So go for it, if they werent so heavy I would offer to try and get another and post it too you, but I think the postage might outweigh the offer.
Good luck with finding one and if not you are welcome to come shopping with me anytime.

Thanks for the reply Burnham1 - will try it on Monday and let you know how I get on. Thanks again Michelle aka welsh-dragon :rotfl:

Worth looking out for though are the Natural Collection Vitamin A and Chamomile facial wash mousse
Got 4 of these today. SEL of 74p but scans at 37p and on BOGOF.

The assistant gave me that "How'd you manage that?" look! :D

For anyone buying this, note it's not suitable for oily skin. Haven't tried it on my face (not sure if I will as have combination skin) but makes lovely handwash for 18p a can. :)
