Are the vouchers at the door or beside the goods Frogling/Anyone?

jgjet - if you're referring to the Cheltenham store, there is a stand containing all of these vouchers next to the Advantage Card machine that is nearest to the EA shelves. There is another stand with vouchers by the pharmacy counter, and one more stand upstairs next to the tills by the children's clothing. There was plenty of stock of all of the leaflets when I went to the store this morning, and the orange leaflets are still showing TD & DR on them. HTH!

Not sure if this has been mentioned and with only one more day to spend No 7 voucher their Sun stuff is on BOGOF so could be a good buy with the 300 AC points too :D

Been to Chatham store 12 times and haven't managed to get any T.D.Same story the same people are going in day after day and clearing the shelves. The phrase [kill the goose that lays the golden eggs;comes to mind!].Would have been happy just to get 1 of each for my mum's 70 th birthday.Don't the people who do this realise1/That creme's and lotions have a shelf life.2/That bragging about how much they have managed to get is just highlighting their [sheer] greed.3/Isn't the whole point of this site that we help each other? And not just ourselves.Talk about rubbing peoples noses in it!They should be ashamed of themselves,NOT bragging about it!Just needed to get that off my chest.;-)

I don't think it's necessarily that the shelves are being cleared by other people, but that the stores simply aren't putting any TD out until after the promotion ends, I know in 1 local store they have removed all the TD stuff, inc all the £10 items etc, there is just another display in its place. In another, there is nothing under £8 left, and I have been in at various times of the day including first thing in the morning, and this is always the case. A few others earlier in this thread have also said that their local Boots aren't putting any out.

Sorry, but the phrase 'sour grapes' could spring to mind also!... apologies if that offends.. but such a sweeping generalisation is unfair I feel... most post what they have got on here to make others aware of whats available or on sale etc.. rather than to 'brag' or 'rub anyone's nose' in anything!.. Thats my take on it anyway.. you may disagree :)

A poster above states they got a few items of both TD and DR, but is annoyed not to have got further items... yet many (if you read the posts) haven't found anything at all (free or cheap) I myself have only had 1 item that worked out free, despite numerous trips to my local stores.. I have been happy to use the vouchers and put money towards the more expensive items that I wouldn't have been able to afford otherwise...

Whatever you feel about people 'clearing shelves' they are not doing anything wrong.. Boots printed the vouchers.. It clearly states 'per transaction' if their staff are allowing people to make multiple purchases (as some state on here) then some will take advantage..

Some you win, some you lose...

I agree with you. I have been to all Boots in Birmingham city centre, Kings Heath, harborne and Worcester and except for the 1st few days nothing has been available under 5 pounds, I am sure that their SA little mafias know very quickly what is available. You only have to see, not just the TD, but all the other items mentioned on this thread that are nowhere to be seen in the shops. I was looking also for EA and n17 body spray and there was nothing in any of the shops.... the cheapest of both were on the botton shelves and a normal punter wouldn-t be looking for those items, however, I was with my little list put together from this thread. So I am doubious that it should be us who get the blame. :A
On another happy note I managed to get the last 2 tD mask in harborne and I managed to get 2 hair producs with 2 vouchers... one found on the floor!! the SA would put everything together so I paid in 2 lots... I didn't care. Also does anyone no if you can use vouchers and make the final payment with the AC points.. she wouldn't let me use it.

On another question, how did you manage to get the 300 with the n 7. I thought it was for vertain products, and I have seen taht the voucher has been used for a variety of buys. Is the voucher the one you get from the AC points machine. PLease help.
  • After reading these threads for a couple of weeks I decided to give this a go this weekend. Went away with OH to Newbury, and after trying to find bargins at Cribbs - no joy (I hink some1 beat me to it!! lol) I struck lucky.

I managed to get the DR Rescue Balm in Newbury, and a TD Mask for (£6 - £1 with coupon) I also go the last EA candle out of the reduced section for free and a Boots Essential mousing gel for £1 - but forgot they were BOGOF!

Went to the newbury retail park and got 2 more candles - full price on the shelf and some body mask for only 24p They also had in the reduced section some botanics post skin healer for after shaving for 75p and came up as BOGOF, also on the shelf some foot lotion adn scrub priced at £1 also BOGOF. They had some of those flower therapy bath salts for 74 p too - watch out they're heavy!
They also had at that retail park a NO 7 summer nails pack (little nail varnishes) for £3, flirty fingers - no 17 2 pack of nail varnishes for £1.25 and loads of face masks for 24p - I went back the next day and the staff seem to have bought them all!

I then went to Basingstoke where I got the really good stuff!! There musn't be any MSE's in Basingstoke cause all the EA stuff was there, I got for free the body lotion, hand cream, candles, body spray and pulse point gel ohh and the bathing powder. They also had the TD eye brightner. I also got the DR hand gift sets from there! and a TD Line smoother!

On my way back to Bristol thought I would have a trek round the Bristol stores! Broadmead had EA Gift sets at 2.50 and I managed to get some free bathing powder and cheap bath essence and body mask. The SA queiried it when I saved £6 with 1 coupon but then I said ohh I'm not complaining and she said, you know what - neither am i!! Not much left in Broadmead now!
Went to Eastgate 1 (Ikea) and got cheap hair dye - UMberto Gallo?? for 75p, but they are a bit short on stock! Popped into Avonmeads but they didn't have much apart from natural collection bath ift sets in the slae for £1 (2 bottles) and BOGOFF -only took 2 and left loads.

Popped into Cribbs Causeway on my way home and got some Natural collection rose confetti type pearls - 25p on shelf price and BOGOFF - also left some or other people!

So sorry this post is so long, but am so grateful to every1 who posted that I was able to get some goodies!! :j

  • Ohhh meant to add for you Bristol girls, at the Cribbs Causeway Boots they have moved all the gym stuff enarer the tills and it seems to be silly prices. Hi, I think it states on the vouchers that you cant use them and pay with AC points..

Yes, the No.7 300 points voucher is in the AC machine.. its meant to be used for the 'skin concentrates' range but it seems that it scans with any No.7 item.... if you are lucky enough to get an SA who will scan it for the item you've bought.
