mich-city,if you were refering to me;nowhere does it say I was able to get any items.Parhaps you should read post reference Boots grabbit bargain thread 4 post by liverbird dated 18-01-2006 12.13p.m.[Who herself today, thanked mich-city,for her post about my supposed sour grapes!].
Think that's a good example of two faced,thanks ladies.x.0 -
Hi gothgirl dont be angry!
Im local to chatham and none of the boots in the area have had any TD stock in for about two weeks. A friend of mine who works there said that they have loads of stock but are not putting it out!
But they may put aome out on the 31st so have a look then and hopefully ill bump into you!

Just used the DR hand mask tonight for the first time. It's fantastic and made such a difference to my hands. If I had known then what I know now . . .
:A Official Boots Tart (I seem to be retired just now though) :A0 -
It is frustrating when you read about other people getting things that don't seem to be around in your shop- it may be that others are taking it all, but really this offer was best a couple of weeks ago. Anyone who is getting TD stuff now is getting a bonus, I think, as it is clear that Boots have pulled the plug on the offer in so far as they are able. Some of the people who are still getting stuff seem to be in places where noone else is looking for the stuff. However, there will be other Boots offers, and we'll be waiting...
Meanwhile lets be nice to each other. One of the best things about this thread is that it has not had lots of back biting.0 -
Anyone had any difficulty using the Boots site over the weekend? Cant get it to accept my payment details - tried a Visa, a Mastercard & a Switch - it dont like any!My views are irrelevant - censorship is alive & well!0

No I wasn't.. I stated a poster above.. nowhere did I refer to you..
I didn't agree with a couple of your comments... But not going to enter into an 'exchange of words'.. I will say tho, that whatever the 'bargain'.. be it this one, Empire, Argos etc etc.. you will always get people that take full advantage (some to the extreme) of the offer and those that miss out... just the way it is..
Sorry you haven't been lucky freebie-wise, not all of us have..0 -
Bristolfarmer wrote:I then went to Basingstoke where I got the really good stuff!! There musn't be any MSE's in Basingstoke cause all the EA stuff was there, I got for free the body lotion, hand cream, candles, body spray and pulse point gel ohh and the bathing powder. They also had the TD eye brightner. I also got the DR hand gift sets from there! and a TD Line smoother!
. Glad you found some bargains
Now your comment about lack of MSErs in Basingstoke made me smile and brings me to my next point. There are MSErs here, but contrary to the opinion expressed by some people on this thread, we are not all nasty people who clear the sheves and then come on here to brag... I've taken things that I need/want/can give away but I've left plenty on the shelf, as Bristolfarmer has found out. Some products I could've had for free, but as I don't want them, I didn't bother.
Therefore, I don't think we need disparaging opinions about people's greed posted here. This is a great thread and everyone has always been extremely helpful and nice to each other. Let's please continue that way.0 -

I love the DR hand cream.. much nicer than the TD one.. good buy if you can get it on BOGOF
Has anyone tried the TD nourishing eye cream? Have got the eye brightener, but that just conceals dark circles etc.. this claims to reduce fine lines and minimise dark circles.. don't want to fork out extra if they do more or less the same thing..0
