The Roomster is a similar version to a people carrier?
Its not nearly as big as a Galaxy & it doesn't cut the mustard for West End executive work (where as a top of the range Galaxy with tinted windows does).

I wouldn't have said any Ford would cut the mustard for West End exec work ;) ...but you're probably right!

  • DD2 has gone to Yorkshire in her Fabia for New Year with passengers, canoes, wet/dry and warm gear, sleeping bags etc, crockpot, outfits for James Bond Do, and I hope clean knickers. As we haven't had any contact we assume car is running well!

A 25K ghia Galaxy with tinted windows does.

Look at Addison Lee (biggest private hire firm in London) they've changed all their fleet to black Ford Galaxys.
  • I had a free 48 hour test drive of the roomster - nice thing, but not comfy on motorways. Well not in the outside lane of the M6 doing a ton!! Did about 300 miles in it from memory. Very good on fuel tho.

I remember years ago selling a Galaxy 2.8 V6 Ultima Auto 6 seat. It was in Mica Stone Pearl with white leather, gold badges and chrom centre caps on the alloys. Very bling-tastic...!!

    Part of the Furniture
I bought a Fabia from Mitchells in Ellesmere Port and I can have (as can anyone who has bought a Skoda from them) a free car wash every Saturday morning while I enjoy a free coffee/tea/hot chocolate and cakes in their curtesy lounge. The after service is seconed to none and the Skoda is so reliable, it's a make I will stick with.

the staff in there are brillaint. When I was in there everyone who bought a car got a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge boquet of flowers. I went on a test drive in one of their cars once and when I got back they had washed my car off for me!!
