Just remembered my worst present this year was a fondue set from my sister. I asked would she mind giving me the receipt as I know I will never use it. Had to laugh when she said she had been given it free from the bingo several months ago. She did buy me some nice stuff as well.Money SPENDING Expert0

OH and myself didn't buy pressies to each other this year and I also to his disgust told my son on no account to buy for us either - he is 17 and desparately saving for driving lessons.
We had 2 presents though, both very special. The 1st from my DD(backpacking in Australia) who left a present with my SIL of a porcelain cake plate and server with father christmas on it and a phonecall christmas day, that was very special.
The 2nd from my SIL and BIL which is a weeks holiday to Spain for us all, I've not had a holiday for years and years, not usually lost for words but was gobsmacked. I just can't believe how truly lucky I am.0 -
I had three best presents from my OH ...
1. A shark encyclopaedia books (I was impressed that he bought this me as I love sharks and never even hinted this)
2. Sex in the City Complete Series box set (I love SITC)
3. River Island Handbag - Leopard print (another favourite)
My worst present was a mug this year but that's still nice though! All the rest were brill though! xMummy to a beautiful 4 month old princess! x0 -
Best pressie had to be my laptop from mum and dad! AND my complete friends box set from my bf
Didnt get any bad pressies this year! 0 -
Best presents for me were a le creuset casserole dish - I love these and never thought I would actually get one! My hubby choose it himself without hints from me but he knows how much I love le creuset stuff. He also got me two charms for my Pandora bracelet which are soo cute.
Also got fab gift of a sewing machine from my Mum, I can`t wait to get making some little dresses for myself for the summer.
I got loads of other bits, far too much to mention but I loved it all!

Best was a Tiffinays &Co necklace that my new husband bought but what made it really special was the little note in it explaining why it was a heart.
Worst was another bath bomb set from MIL I hate baths and never have one, which she knows after we lived with her for 2 years, ah well into someone elses present next year.Total debt £15,110 :eek:0 -
Favourite presents - lots of socks from my daughters 10 & 13 (brought with New Look vouchers they'd had from people for their birthdays- very MS), I always need socks!

I got a lovely ring from my husband (we're separated so it was quite a surprise)
Worse present - a horrible, tacky watch, necklace and brooch set also from husband.
Most awful present - neighbours dog attacking my dog 4 days before Christmas and leaving me a £450 vet bill so far. . . .
Best present by far - my mum using her credit card to pay the vet bill although I have to pay it back . . . .0 -

How romantic! :rotfl:
:rotfl: I would love that kind of pressy for christmas!!! but then I am a car nut!
I don't have a favourite pressy as such as I had so many lovely things,
My children bought me a box of my fav chockies and 4 books which was lovely
OH bought me a new phone (the one I wanted!) and he bought me a headset (boring boring boring I hear you all say) I absolutely love the headset as my dad lives over in Bulgaria and whilst he has a mobile over there there is very little signal and it costs so much to call .... now we both have skype and can talk for however long we want, as often as we want and it doesn't cost a penny!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Best present that made me laugh was - a parking meter reminder.
I'd been shopping with my daughter in Woollies on the day they announced they were closing down. They said over the tannoy that the store was closing 1 hour early to restock the shop. We were in a checkout queue so long that I got a parking ticket!!
I wrote to the parking people with my receipt for Woollies - showing the time we were served. Another superb Christmas pressie I got let off!!
SwampyExpect the worst, hope for the best, and take what comes!!:o0
