  • I have 3 favourite presents this year:
    - A photobook with pictures of my OH, me and our 2 children in it (bought by OH's mum)
-A pair of GHD straighteners which I really really wanted (bought by OH)
-A graphics tablet which I've also wanted for a long time but couldn't afford it (bought by OH)

I've not recieved any bad presents so I must have been very good this year :)

My best pressi ever was a picture of Martin from the website that my sis had printed out and stuck in a frame and she had written on it "Merry Christmas Niki Thanks for your continued support all my MSE love" I didn't stop laughing all Christmas day!
It is now pride of place next to the computer!
I though it was also very MSE!

Best was a hamper with cheese, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and chutneys ... once things have bought myself but nowadays a great treat. I had a voucher for a haircut and colour too which was fantastic as I keep putting off having my haircut to delay the £20 or so spend a little ... 7 months so far since my last cut. I'd got a £4 box of hair dye through Advantage Card Points ready to do before going to in-laws on Christmas Day but didn't bother!

Worst were five packs of knee high 'pop sox' from my wonderful m-i-l ... she must have a bulk supplier as I've got about 20 boxes waiting to be opened now. Perhaps I should start making some 'pickled bums' from the craft threads for next year!

All in all, I can't complain. Santa was very kind!

Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155
  • Lots of lovely things for me too this year! Favourite ones are:

Some lovely comfy PJs from OH
Gorgeous print of somewhere we used to go on holiday as kids from Mum
Framed photos of my beautiful two year old niece from sister

Worst present- a candle from OH which smells simply disgusting. Even he asked what the awful smell was! Bless him...obviously chose by colour rather then scent. Shame, as I love candles.
:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator :p
  • My best present this year was a microwave hotty penguin which will be great for my sore shoulder - how old do I feel :o.

Worst pressie was the same as last year and the year before and every year since I left home yet another cook book from my mum - I hate cooking always have done and always will do - told OH it was for him :rotfl:.

Was gutted that I didn't get any new socks and everyone else did so went and bought myself some :D
