lol awwww
same thing with me - got post but i got test scores and letter sayin i was successful in interview but on a waiting list! - argggh this could take up to 12 months! but from what i've heard it could be quick due to the number of people required for dwp and with the current economic climate so fingers crossed!
The post i applied for is posted for 2 job centre plus and now on waiting list!!0 -
i sure do hope i dont get put on a waiting list  i need work asap! hope it is quick though - i should think it is given all the news reports about dwp needing extra staff although it makes me wonder what will happen to those who apply now when the recession is over they will then have tooo many staff0

Do they offer people jobs straight away after interview? I've been put on a waiting list...i thought everyone does - that is part of their recruitment procedure? and then they get called up depending on vancancies at the centres?0

where i went they said there was thirty jobs, and the people with the top score from all the tests and the interveiw would be offered the jobs first. I got my letter to day it said depending on checks they would let me know if I was bein offerd a place or put on the list. so just have to wait and see.0

Hi Janet - what you say interests me. I went for the numeracy and literacy tests on Monday ... they were marked on the day and if we met the pass level we were given interview times/dates. I went for my interview today and we should hear the outcome within two weeks.
You said that the people with the top score from all tests and interview would be offered the jobs first. I thought my tests went well, but the interview was a struggle. Does that mean if I scored 100% in numeracy, 90% in literacy, but only 40% in the interview I could still stand a reasonable chance?
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!0 -

From what I hear, you are put on a waiting list and score given to you is from your INTERVIEW only not test scores!0
