I am going to pay £23 for a code off ebay if none of you outbid me within the next 8 minutes.

My sister wants to come on the same break as us and she hasn't got a code this time. She wouldn't get butlins in school holidays if she booked by post, and she will save £200 by going with the sun, so a £23 spend on the code is worth it for her.

I have tried for butlins before on the postal forms, for more than 4 people. Always refused, and then the sun sends a list of leftovers you can choose from - never in school hols.

I thought perhaps there were just too many people asking for butlins - until I messed around with online booking and realised you never get butlins for 5 people I just carried on trying to get butlins by post

I agree, they should tell people they can't book for 4+ at butlins.

Also, my parents should have got free ents (but not me lol!) but they wouldn't let you book butlins unless you left the free ents code out :mad:

I got school hols, we are off until september 8th so the 4th is good for us.

We went to Craig Tara twice in 2007, both on Sun hols, once in may halfterm, and again aug bank hol mon-fri, we loved it both times, it was great as they put on lots enertainment on during the day aswell, especially in august, but that was prpobably due to summer hols, still there was plenty going on in the may half term. I know its been couple years now, but yes, we all had a fab time there, (at the time, it was me, hubby and our 2 boys-daughter was a cooking bun in oven at the time!!:D ) Someone earlier mentioned they found the park dirty, hopefully you will have a fab time. x

We looked at Trecco Bay, and settled on Park Resorts Camarthan Bay instead, do you know what thats like?? We went to Brynowen Park resorts last year with Sun-also May half term, hubby won the singing karaoke competition there, so we won a free week to compete in the park finals, which he also won, and then won another week to compete in the Grand Finals last November, absolutely outstanding on talent and entertainment, and meant the outlay for the sun hols this time last year, got us 3 breaks away!!:D We have gone with Park Resorts again, to see if hubby can try his luck again, and win us and our kiddies more hols.

Anyway- if you know what their Camarthan Bay park is like, let us know, thankyou x

my parents have a caravan at camarthen bay. its a good park (bingo csts a small fortune!) but the drinks seem to be reasonable and there is good entertainment for the family. theres also an arcade which will keep the kids entertained! the staff are all helpful, and its right on the beach! im sure you will have a great time!let me kniow how it goes!

I am looking at more, but not sure if the butlins will still be available by tomorrow. I should have put a higher max bid to be sure of getting that one, but I thought £26 would be enough.
